Making Chaos Emeralds give you abilities

    Really, once you learned the RAM address for Emeralds and got the ASM syntax down pat, it shouldn't be so hard to add a simple check for emeralds. I mean, creating the Double Jump is difficult, but to simply add a check for emeralds first is very simple. It would be good for the Sonic hacker just starting with ASM if you explained what everything does, but it doesn't, so it seems only like a guide that shows how to do something, and with something so simple, I ask you: was this entirely necessary? =\


    Good guide, and it is good that you are contributing, once you fixed up the mistakes, it's be an alright guide. Just make sure if you're making a "howto" guide like this and not a newbie guide that would explain things to get them started with ASM, to decide whether it's necessary or not.

    Well, what I meant is the guide needs a lot of work on it. So you can just delete the guide.

    Why would he delete the guide NOW? I mean, people never complained about it before, so why should it be deleted?

    Ok, the guide does need to be changed but I never put the fact that no one has complained about it into consideration so maybe it doesn't need to be deleted after all.
