Custom backgrounds for S1 special stages

    Like in Sonic Megamix, how do I apply custom backgrounds to the special stage BG? UtopiaUK made some for me. My hack will have 7 special stages in it. I'm trying to replace the BG with the scrolling clouds and birds with my new ones.

    The Starry night and the Galactic background is totally kickass! However, the lava BG is not really looking like Lava.

    UtopiaUK and I tried to look for something that pertains to lava, but [utopiaUK] was doing his best. You have any suggestions? Tell me. You can help find more possible BGs. But it has to correlate to the emerald color. So you like the ones for the purple and light blue emeralds, huh? If you find a useful BG, post it in this thread

    Bad news: UtopiaUK quit. And if I seek help, you allow me to seek help for art. But as I said, I handle all layouts, and Carlos does ASM and music. And to Alan and Ramiro: Carlos has got me covered, so stop begging me to do ASM because it's too much and I have other priorities. I may do minor ASM fixes, but none of the major stuff. I could use another background artist if anyone wants to help out.
