Please pardon my long vacation--I had to purchase a new PC/laptop.

But I am now back to work with special stages. I did manage to fix the palette for the 7th emerald in the ending sequence

Unfortunately with the special stage results screen, even after mapping the 7th emerald, I got this weird result

Please disregard the title card and text--I'll deal with that later. I only want the 7th emerald that color like the ones in the pic on the right. The flashing/cycling effects were affected instead of the 7th emerald's palette being overwritten with the intended color(s).

Did you configured the Pattern Load Cues?

Uh, I'm sorry, but we already tried explaining this to you before, You have a colour lilimit which you've either breached, or you just simply do not know how to use it in a clever way, and do not have enough knowledge about VDP, Objects, Sprite Table, etc, to accomplish what you need.

    http://info.sonicretro.org/SCHG_How-to:Work_with_Objects

How to work with objects, very important, it will explain not only the object programming itself, but also the mappings/animation, etc. (And I wrote this one with Malevolence, so I know what's on it and I know that it CAN help you before you bring up excuses, you just have to read).

    http://info.sonicretro.org/SCHG:VDP_Docume...n/General/Ports

The general stuff about the VDP (Video Display Processor), useful info is useful.

    http://info.sonicretro.org/SCHG:VDP_Documentation

There are links to official software manuals which contain almost everything you need to know about the Megadrive/Genesis, they explain more in depth than the link above it.

If you want to achieve your goal, you have to do some research, unfortunatly not many people here at SSRG (Those who actually visit) have much knowledge on this topic either, so I don't think any answers can be given without doing it for you, you have to help yourself before we can help you I'm afraid.

Haha, wow! He's right WillJ... I read it like 30 minutes ago... And wow, I actually understood it. And I suck at ASM! =P

I had to read it a couple of times to fully understand it but meh... At least I know how objects work a whole lot more than I used too. And now I know all the mistakes I did in past object I tried to edit, port, etc.

In fact, I'm going to fix them right now... *opening my sonic1.asm and s2.asm* =P

Haha, then who did the art and most of all... The actual ASM work? Probably got Alan, Ramiro, or Deox to do it.

    How sad...

Congratulations, glad to see you have what you wanted to accomplish, it's looking pretty awesome too, very clean and organized =)

However, I like how you say:

    And then after it say:

Either you did it all on your own, or that thread helped you, what's it gonna be? Because I think that a "thank you" to all the guys at SonicRetro is neccesary here, don't you?

Just in case you don't =P

Thank you Quickman & Nineko for helping solve this little issue.

Yeah. Thanks to the Retro community and all those involved for helping solve my problem.

Kudos to Quickman, Cinossu, and Nineko--reading that 7th special stage thread was very helpful
