I'm surprised no one has commented yet of how awesome this version is. the new GHZ art for the background is beautiful and the new art for slz is just plain gorgeous. though some parts of the hack could use some fixes like on SYZ, which im probably sure you already know that you have to fix the part with the water. that and you should consider removing the speed cap also, that would make the gameplay more accurate. overall, this version is by far the best one you've released. looking foward to see what will be in the next version. big thumbs up dude

 

I donno, the GIZ BG looks sorta hackish to me, GCZ on the other hand is a real FG treat, very well done there I did like that. I would love to see it progress more though, perhaps a nice fitting BG and different FG chunk designs and new layouts, really change it up, make it a completely new, original and unique zone, I'll be awesome!


Edit: wait, I didn't even notice Act 2 or Act 3 =$ I still like the colours of Act 1 best.

Who gave you permission to put Selbi and Markey Jester in there! =P. On a serious note I'm liking the new ghz bg, I want to see what you will do with the grass in the fg. My favourite hands down is generic city zone from that screenshot, thats looks absolutely beautiful!. Now i'm let down a bit by lz, because its the fg palette, I don't think it works. The spring yard zone, is looking rather cool as well, looks like a new level =). On a whole, this art progress is looking great so far.

 

I thought LZ DTZ worked due to contrast, what with the colours Yellow


and Purple being direct opposites on the Colour Spectrum.


Oh well.

 

I didn't even notice my name there, because it was blocked by that weird edgy checkerboard thing. I feel honored... I mean, it's not like it was obvious to be included in a hack (regardless in which way), so thanks.

Them all are absolutely unique. I see some great power with the SYZ art, wich seems to be received touches of inspiration from Sonic CD. They are fantastic! Specially LZ wich looks a scary place with a truely impressive art (except for its exaggerated contrast of colors). Could you gently show us more of the LZ's background, sir?
