Ok, quick question. I JUST found out how to dissassemble and reassemble Sonic 1, but in my hack, I was planning on replacing Spring Yard Zone with Death Egg Zone. However, Sonic 2's song (i'm guessing) has different instruments than Sonic 1, so the game crashes (what a shocker :)) I want to know, is it possible to make a version of the Death Egg Zone song from Sonic 2 that will use Sonic 1's Sound Driver?

    Or just customise it yourself.

How would I be able to customize it? I would need a template of the song or something. I have NO idea how to create songs at all. Do I need a certain program for it? Or could someone try and make an attempt at it?

I just transfered Sonic 2's Death Egg Zone song to Sonic 1, but it plays WAY too fast! Anyone have any suggestions? I decompressed the song with ESE II and used Music Pointer Fixer to do this.

This was did on Sonic 2 Clone Driver already. Not all songs can have his real tempo because some of them work on a different patterns and notes separation between themselves.

Yes, there is something called XM to SMPS converter. XM is for Sonic 2 and SMPS is the music style for Sonic 1.
