I copied my hack file into the 2007 Xenowhirl disassembly and changed the Y boundary to

    $29A0.

I builded it and it gave me a black screen when I tried to play it in Fusion.

    How to fix that?

Then... just don't change it to that high value. I doubt you will need so much.

Just asking, I'm sorry If I'm being wrong: I don't know if I'm sure, but this question must be moved into the Q&A section.

Meh, I don't think it's necessary at this point...

On track, doesn't the Y boundary have a limit of 7FF? I recall such zones as SBZ 2 setting theirs to 800 for level wrapping. Which might explain why your hack locks up.

Then I was opening "split.bat" and "build.bat", it gave me some other folders.

Now, the thing is - it loads correctly, but my levels gone!! It loads the default ones!

I even extracted the file "soned2proj.zip" and copied my projects there and it gave me the same original levels, not my projects!!!

If you've re-split from your rom, then i'm afraid yeah, your just re-splitting it from a fresh sonic2 rom so it will just have the originals. Thats why back ups are necessary.

I have the backups, because I just copied the projects, I didn't click "Cut".

What I mean is, the projects have to look for said files. If say you didn't back the 8x8 and the 16x16 etc, then just saving the project files won't mean anything unless you have your edited files backed up. It will go and find these files, and what it will find in the folder is un edited files.

You know what, I will continue using the 2006 disassembly because this situation is making me nervous.

A tip would be that once you've split the data, delete all split apps, texts, etc, starting with "split.bat", this reduces the chances of you accidently overwriting your data.
