"Rare" Sonic hacks

Hello ssrg community,

I was looking around ssrg and sonic retro and I realised something. There are a few hacks in my posession that I'm not entirely sure of where I downloaded them from. They are not on here or Sonic Retro's hack resporitory section or forums , Don't bother I have Looked. What I was wondering was if there are any "rare" hacks that have kinda either been uploaded outside this community or otherwise curled up and died, that regardless of the version they are in , are by any means worth playing.

This excludes
 

• S3- Rainbowdash/Fluttershy (I am not a brony , allthough I was so desperate I had to try it , it wasn't my cup of tea, lesson learnt)

• S1 Project Electric Mouse (I have this)

• Chao walker in Sonic 1 (I also have this)

If you have names of unknown but decently good hacks name and/or link them below , I really want to try new hacks but that department is slow lately.

P.S. I'm certain I didnt get these from sega retro or whatever that now dormant forum was , I never used it

I have Project Electromouse, and Chao Walker in Sonic 1, and they're not that good. but Electromouse is better than the 2.

So about these "Rare" hacks; if they haven't been seen in a while, id like to know for sure that there isn't a link on dropbox download (Or anything) that contains them. I can say for sure that I have all 3 of these hacks as well.

 

Okay Ninko,I have not had a chance to check out that feature for signatures since the "Okay i shall do that" was my 20th post and got moved to limbo

The best way to answer your question is: try it.


It's merely a shortcut to the Signature Editor of your profile. It will always work (unless IPB decides to randomly change all the URLs, which might even be more possible than one might think), and the best part is that everyone can click it (no, this doesn't mean that everyone can edit your signature).

I do have an old set of hijacked hacks laying around somewhere on my backup HDD. They were old beta versions of hacks which didn't see the light of day in the way we should, cramped together by some guy.

I neither have a download link, nor will I provide any. Let me just tell you that there are many "rare" hacks indeed.

 

I've collected here some, which were hard to find, except the [PRO] ROMS.

You know my thing for collecting thing rom-- agh, must resist asking. Seriously though, is it that thing, which was released around 2008/2009 by sonichackman1? If yes, I still have them. =P

 

I beta tested lots of hacks, mainly Varion's Cybernetic Outbreak and Puto's Sonic 1 Remastered, along many other ones, but no, I won't share any of those.

 

I'd be amazed if many people still have a copy of mine. I have all my hacks dating back to 2002 stored away for safe keeping and I think most of them have been lost to the world over time.

Does it really matter when you won't be getting them anyway?

 

The hacks were obtained by somebody hacking into a server where they were stored as far as I remember, so nobody will be distributing any links or providing any information. I have the set myself, as I wanted to see if any of my hacks made it into it, and it turns out they did. That's another reason I won't be distributing the set, or any details of its contents.

Sorry, I won't share anything from that set. After all, it contains hacks which indeed were never supposed to be seen in the way they are there. It's best for all if it stays like that as well.

 

Wow I had no idea this was such a big thing , one thing i may ask is why they are so secret and why they are not supposed to be seen by the public?
