Introduction: I have a GitHub disassebly for my hack

    1. How to port Sonic 3&k music into sonic 1 including the DAC (..Launch Base "Go")?

    2. How to port music from Knuckles' Chaotix and Sonic 3D Blast?

    Questions to Nineko:

    3. Nineko can you create a new xm3smps that will support instrument editor, DAC editor and importing from a .gyb file?

    4. Can you extend mid2smps (mid3smps lol) that will support assigning PSG, Hats and looping? Also maybe enable splitting track with some voices into some tracks, and combining tracks?

    5. Can you enable PSG Drums in smps2mid and to enable PSG Envelopes (PSG Marimbas on Lava Reef...)

6.In mid2smps, enable previewing sound in more key range (for basses, e.g. in A3).

    3. I am sorry but no, as I stated more than once xm3smps is a dead chapter for me. Valid alternatives exist.

First, port the MegaPCM driver into Sonic 1 (tutorial on this site), then I believe there is a tutorial somewhere that can help you port the S3K DAC, and I also believe that there is a disassembly including Sonic 3's PSG, then there is a tool to convert S3K songs to S1 format (I think it's called SMPS Converter, correct me if I'm wrong)

Above, that was to keep S1's sound driver, but there's a problem with that, it can lag the game. You can keep if you want, but there's an easier and better solution: you could just port Flamewing's S3K sound driver. The game shouldn't lag as much as S1's sound driver and It's not too hard to port, the hardest part is changing the music/sound IDs to (attempt to) match with S1's equivilant, and that's not too hard, but time consuming.

Second, Sonic 3D Blast uses the same sound driver as S3K, so you shouldn't have to do too much with it. I don't know about Knuckles' Chaotix.

@Ralakimus goodsuggestion to use Flamewing's driver but Where is it?

    And also another questions:

    1. How to convert WAV to Sound FX and DAC Samples?

    2. Nineko maybe make mid3smps?

    3. Another guy will know about porting music from Chaotix (to S3K)?

    4. I hope Flamewing have the DAC Samples and SFX.

The sound driver is in Sonic Retro. Just search "Flamewing improved SK sound driver" and you'll have it
