And after a long while of teasing, here it is, the last in the Sally trilogy:

Controls are the same as the Sonic 2 hack.

    Controls:

    A - NICOLE laser attack.

    B - NICOLE scan.

    C - Jump

    Down + Forward - Slide.

    C while sliding - Summersault.

Down + NICOLE in air - Downward fire.

This is a very early build. I'm having trouble getting the laser attack to work on a lot of objects, though you should be able to progress through using jump and slide attacks on certain obstacles (Knuckles is beatable if you land directly on top of him). If there are any parts you get stuck please tell me.

Scan mode is incomplete, it only works on monitors so far. Some sprites are also incomplete. I have noticed some random moments the game resets as well.

This is amazing! Sally adds a really fun and interesting play style to an already an amazing game. The greatest feature is the ability to change the contents of the monitors. I look forward to playing the entire game.

This is great! The animations are smooth, the necessary palette changes blend in quite well, her longish range weapons are very useful and overpowered...

Like any great game, though, it has it's flaws:

    • You forgot to mention the Super Peelout styled move in the controls section
    • The leftover sonic rolling frame looks rather jarring; you might be better off using a recolored version of tails's rolling frame, that would probably stand out less
    • She feels a bit too small; she's about as high as tails (the shorter character, of course), and has a much thinner body. Not sure how easy this would be to fix...
    • The game crashed at some point after the technical AIZ act 1/act 2 fire transition, by the first planted fire spewing enemy, where the first waterfall is. I heard tails breaking a platform immediately before the game crashed. You mentioned that this does in fact happen from time to time, but I put this detailed point here in the hopes that you can find a pattern and fix it.
    • Another crash; attempting to fire one of her blasts (I think the one triggered by A) underwater in AIZ1 (after the fire cutscene) crashed it again...
    • She can break walls that are intended to be only destroyed by knuckles; this allows her to break into some of knuckles areas in the game, which can be disastrous, as the game events are built with Sonic's paths in mind (for example, breaking into the knuckles miniboss arena in AIZ1 results in her dieing for no obvious reason)
    • She doesn't seem to be able to properly break the wall before the s-loop leading to the act 2 boss, but after hitting it with her gun to no effect, running into it broke it, somehow...

This is good job. And controls way too convenient. Special thanks for Sally Acorn. :)

Is it me or Hydro City Act 2 is impossible to complete? I'm not  sure if this is a bug, but I'm being unable to destroy the walls at the begining of the level. Curiously I was able to destroy the first one since when I cleared the act 1 but I can't destroy the others later.
