Sonic 3 and Chaotix? That's an amazing concept and it looks like it will be done well. I can't wait to see more!

So is it a S3K hack or a Chaotix hack? Dumb question, I know.

Yesterday, around Noon (EST), I had decided to take a look through the Dolphin Forums to view and learn about what is currently modifiable in Sonic Adventure II: Battle, and I was quite surprised that not a lot has been done with the game up to now, at least on a graphical standpoint, but what I had found was still significantly good to work with regardless.
So I decided to get myself used to the files that were used in Tezuka101 and Alekzanderk's Hi~Res Texture Pack set, and I had conjured up this out of the Title Screen in less than 060 minutes; wishfully, this project will go somewhere, in the event that more becomes available in handling Battle (Gamecube)'s Art Editing (such as Zone Art editing and full modification of character models), I truly do wonder what more we could do with the game's graphics in the long run if modding the Gamecube port is still an ongoing thing in the Dolphin scene.

It looks like new Pantufa design, so wonderful! The art looks like Mario style though.

Reminds me of a cross between Mario VS DK (The original GBA one) and S3D.

It's Papyrus. Anybody who's played Undertale should already know that by now...

Also, it's spaghetti, since Papyrus has a thing for spaghetti.

Thought that I would show off a little more progress in Royan Vacation '16's development, this time with a bit of progress done to both the Main Menu and City Escape, which are roughly 047% complete together.
Messing around with the textures has been rather fun to do, I must say, truly cannot get enough of the ways that you could make the game look more and more visually dynamic, I am quite surprised indeed.

    ~ Main Menu:

    GSNE8P-7.png

The font for the selections will all be changed to Kimberley, which is the same font that was commonly used in the Test Mode of most Midway Arcade titles in the '90s.
At the same time, you might notice that I instead have PlayStation Controller commands in place, rather than Gamecube Face Buttons, this is intentional due to the fact that I play games on Dolphin with a Dualshock 02 controller; for those wondering, Cross is A and Square is B, just to clarify on that for newcomers.

    ~ City Escape:

    GSNE8P-12.png

New Heads~up Display and textures for the area, although you are able to tell that not everything is complete just yet.
The numbers have been changed to the Zrnic font, and the Chance/Life Indicator in the lower left corner is simply a placeholder from the Hi~Res Texture Pack; expect that Sonic icon to change in the official release, that will score an entirely new look in the long run.

Also, new Phantasy Star Online: Version 02 armour has been made, use at your own luxury.

    GSNE8P-13.png

Nearing the run down the big wall, you are able to come to a back alley of new posters to take a gander at.
All new posters either promote a Royameadow and Co. affiliate, or, in the case of what Sonic is looking at above this text, Lindsey Stirling; the dimensions of each poster is set to 0512 by 0512 to eliminate visual blur with the original 0128 by 0128 tiles, so that way, you folks may look at the detail of each one easier.

    ~ Results Screen (Halfway Complete):

    GSNE8P-14.png

With the new Zrnic font, the numbers definitely have taken a visual change for the better in this screen.
The other text needs to be handled accordingly, I already know where it be at this point, but I want to finish City Escape's new art before doing anything else in the First Demo (Radical Highway and Meteor Herd).

Rank Letters have been changed to the Kimberley font, you may now look at your rank in all of its lovely and shiny glory.
I had wanted the letters to look not as Plastic, as the original game had delivered to us, so I feel that making the Rank Letters more Shinier in design serves it well, it truly does deserve the modernization after almost 015 years. :)

Why...why is SomeCallmeJohnny in that image?.... Other than that, it's always nice to see SA/SA2 mods.

The poster of John there was a Philadelphia Wallpaper made by me in a way of paying tribute to his works, originally being a birthday gift for him back in Late July of 2015.
A full size incarnation of that wallpaper is available in Hyper HD (2844x1600) on my primary DeviantART account, the link to said wallpaper being below for the sake of convenience.

I am extremely glad that you are enjoying what you are viewing from this mini~preview of Royan Vacation '16, Animemaster, same goes for the rest that have liked it up to now, I truly do appreciate the positive feedback at all points in time.
Provided that what is presented in this preview had taken roughly a full week to make, I truly do wonder how quickly I could finish up the rest of the game's textures, there is just so much to work with for each level that there are countless ways to visually recreate the game in full, it's astounding!
