I appreciate the effort, but... I can't really hear Sky Troops in that SMPS. I can't really speak to the sequencing, but I think it needs different instrumentation.

Yeah, I'm not really looking for any more songs for EHZ, it feels like it has enough as it is. The only reason there's a song listed for it is because I can't turn down Sonic R music.

Note: I did not upload Red Hot Skull, I know someone else here who might want to let you use theirs, its really good, also I have not done a couple of the ones I said I did thought I did but I didn't, my bad. Let me know if you are interested in any of these.

 

I'll take just about everything there, except TTZGFJ and TTZPrJ which are already done, and TTZBFU which is just kind of a boring track (not your fault).

Also, just to make sure everyone knows, I'm not claiming any ownership of any music used in KEH, even the songs that are made for me. The decision as to whether a track can be used in another project is entirely up to the track's creator, not me. Everyone who contributes music will be credited for each track, as all current contributors are. I will not have two versions of the same track, and if someone wants to replace an existing track with their own version, they must get approval from the person who made the version currently in the hack.

 

I guess i'll look into Sonic R music since I recall doing some before.

Edit: Also the person I was referring too for Red Hot Skill is Amphobius, if he doesn't come to you then I will provide mine. I think it's an older port of his but still good.

 

I've already expressed interest in redoing my old version of Red Hot Skull for KEH, actually, since I'm pretty dissatisfied with the old version.

I don't want to deter anyone else from contributing, though. If you can get in there first and MainMemory feels it's adequate then I can hardly complain, can I? The more people represented the better I think we can look together as a community.

(Although, it should be said I have a remake of the track in CD quality to use as a base, since existing midi files shouldn't really be trusted due to the nature of the thing)

 

Naw Sam it's fine, but someone else may feel differently. I don't care though since there are already going to be like 10 from me.

 

Maybe this version will be better.

Since the contest is nearly upon us, I'd like to make one last call for any Sonic music any of you might have, on my list or otherwise.

Once the contest is done, I don't think I'll update the hack anymore, except for possibly bugfixes. I'd like to thank everyone who contributed ideas, art, music, code, or high scores, everyone who did playthroughs and reviews, and everyone who just had fun playing it. This hack was born out of frustration, based on an idea not a lot of people liked, and for it to be as well received as it is, is really great.
