I never deleted the hack. I keep all my projects remaining in a folder. Also I wanted to fix the issues that was in the build I uploaded.

Look's good CaveQuest. But before you made the hack did you ask Donnie for permission?

Donnie has been aware of this hack for a while now, and he doesn't seem to mind its existance.

    A new Disassembly, I presume?
The contents of it in this sample screenshot is exactly what I would think of when it comes to one of optimal quality, it appears as if it will be one that cuts right to the chase in its information and the file names tell the developer(s) exactly what they are editing, this is indeed a significant improvement for those that intend to make tutorials on how to develop Disassembly Hacks and I feel that it makes writing up them or making video tutorials far more organized as well.

My only question(s) on this project at the moment is the following: How might (or will) this Disassembly somewhat deprecate the older ones from the 200X decade and more recent ones, and is this one intended to eventually become a primary template for working on modern ROM hacks in Future~Time?

This shouldn't depricate older versions per se, or that is to say; that's not the intention.

The main purpose of this disassembly is to document it fully, by means of having the entire source being commented and documented as clearly as possible. This is meant for personal use in reality, but I am sharing images here simply to get a feedback as to whether or not anyone would be interested, thus giving me the decision as to whether or not I should bother releasing it.

It's not intended to be of primary concern for hack makers out there, as I said, it's for documentation, and I would rather people pick the disassembly version that fits their circumstances best, and if they can't find one, make one. There is no such thing as a "best disassembly" as it fits into several catagories of preference, some people work better with code that's organised, others work better with code that has less text. To make assumptions that a single disassembly can be the end all be all choice, is a foolish thought, and people should stop having this sort of mentality.

Funnily enough, this is exactly the same thing I have been working on gradually over the last 6 months. I hated the layout of the disassemblies so I split everything I could and sorted them by zone where appropriate, and by object for anything object related. This way things could be quickly and easily added by simple duplication of folders and a touch of renaming and referencing. Regardless of who makes this and who releases it and so on, this should be greatly received around the community as the current disassemblies are an unorganised mess. If I were you I'd keep at it, this is exactly what the community needs more of. I'm also confident that you'll do a much better job than me when it comes to detailing the various routines as well, as your ASM knowledge is vastly superior to mine.

Edit: I've actually just realised you're doing this for S1, whereas I'm reorganising S2, so this is something I would definitely be interested in seeing released to the community when complete. I've no idea why I interpreted it as S2 on first glance, think it's just because I'm tired.
