I feel like it should be redone based on how moving is done 8 frames against 6 frames. You just added more frames for feet which is wrong because timing is different. Also those spikes on 3/4 side look odd.
Take 2 frames, say, 1 and 4 of original or 2 and 5, next draw the line of feet movement over original and apply new fames' feet on this line(maybe with some alterations).

With regards to a few posts from a few days ago like this for example, that have been moved to the General Drawing Thread, please remember that this thread is for screenshots of projects that you are working on, not generic art.

MarkeyJester, Natsumi, I love it. Seriously, I cannot wait for this. I've been able to play some more multiplayer Mega Drive stuff recently with my cousin, and this looks like it could be a great way for us to both play Sonic 3 and Knuckles together (like we need another incentive, but still).

I'm also loving that Carnival Night minigame. I had to watch the video a few times but I think I understand the rules and it's rather clever, in my opinion. I'm also loving that funky remix in the background.

Congratulations for making your most badass program so far! Hope you make a better AI than Sonic CD's dumbness.

Also speaking about AI, I done this thing yesterday (where the brown circle is the intended target)

Is it unpredictable but coherent at same time?

This is acting exactly as predicted, man. Unfortunately people isn't giving the proper attention to this for some reason, but it looks really cool technically for me. I can't wait to see how this will become with the sprite art for both the head and the body sections. I'm really curious to see the final product, especially with Sonic in action. Great work so far!

Back in 2008, there was a very basic Flash Game version of Snake on Miniclip that a handful of my friends and I had found during our Internet adventures in our Computer Apps class, and it played very similar to this, the only differences though were the physics and that it used a full~on map that had exceeded the main resolution of the gameplay screen (probably 1024x1024, in terms of level dimensions, not sure though), with walls, enemies, and obstacles/traps to impede on the snake's progress.
Must Circles ever go further than what we see in this mini~showcase, do you intend to take the route of making complete levels such as what we saw from that?

South Island Warped definitely had made a name for itself on how porting the Metal Sonic Race & Chase section would be on the Genesis/Megadrive, then Animemaster took it up a good notch in Sonic the Hedgehog: CD Edition (2015 Version), and now we have this: A near Console Perfect port of the section's template and formula, albeit still missing select sprite details and sounds that made the original from 1993 ever so memorable.
Wishfully, you'll do a bit more on this, it's almost as accurate to the original that going all the way with it would be worth the time optimizing the rest, dedication truly can do a lot if you have the focus and ambition running thoughout yourself. :)

Finally, what seems to be the beginning of a Console Perfect port of Sonic the Hedgehog (Sega GS/MD) to the Mark III, easily worthy of the 11000101 Trophy and proof that if Sonic Team and Ancient had the knowledge with the Mark III and Game Gear to make ports such as this back then, then we would have had the game put on those with the quickness and accuracy in quality and performance that we are starting to see here, which I know will be improved upon for graphical and audio optimizations.
Seriously, I truly do hope that this project gets polished up and completed as much as possible, the Mark III is currently the only major Sega console from Generation III to VI in Gaming to not have the GS/MD version of the game ported over to it in some form (save for the SG~1000) and this completes the library; perhaps someday down the road, this could be used as a template to make or port other ROM hacks for the Mark III as well, it would be lovely to see and I know that this one will get a lot of major acclaim, no matter which form it comes in. :)

This thing is going to be a flying snake type badnik for a Sonic hack. The orange thing is meant to be Sonic. The red sphere is the snake's head and the yellow spheres are their body section with the move-set of how it will attack Sonic.

I wasted my time making a software scaler and rotator just so I could do this on Genesis. I've been a naughty boy once again :V

    I have several problems.
First off, (even though you're in Prospect and can't do anything about this) don't use a mobile link.
Second, that palette is awful. I tried warning everybody with Pepsi in Sonic 1 about these kinds of palettes, but nobody listens so whatever. The sky is too orange (fun fact: the sky in real life doesn't turn bright orange out of nowhere) The ocean's palette isn't even changed, which hurts me. It's not supposed to be orange (which I can give you that), but it's also not supposed to stay the same exact color (this isn't SADX where lighting doesn't exist).

Third, that artwork is awful. The background reuses tiles from the foreground, which already makes it confusing to know what you can jump on, but then you have the same repeating tiles for the mountains. It looks ugly and repetitve. Another thing is that you change the dirt in the foreground to not be a checkerboard pattern, yet you ignore all the shadow tiles and wall tiles. It looks lazy and ugly.

Finally, not only do you have a bottomless pit right at the beginning of the level, but then you start having chunks cut off and not even bothering to try and add the chunks that make it not look like the dirt is flat. Plus the level design is obviously just a modified GHZ1 so you're not helping yourself there.

So in the end, in conclusion, all's well that ends well. Your hack is looking to be awful. You make a ton of mistakes a bunch of noobies make. I recommend you get better at art/color palettes and learning to design levels on paper or whatever, and tackle Sonic hacking (or games in general) later.

Not only with what Tree's has said above, but what does this hack give? Bad artwork and palettes? All this hack really shows is a "collaboration" of other's ideas, which almost everyone here has seen a hundred times over. You seem to follow the tutorials, but you don't seem to add on to it, to make the hack "unique". Instead, you'd rather follow the precedents of ROM hacking, instead of improving, refining, and learning. Just some words to live on, because once you're able to push through these "taboos", you can do something great. However, it takes time, and the ability to learn from mistakes.

I especially liked your note based sound test in this video. It reminded me of a mockup I made many, many years ago of a sound test I considered putting in myself, using the note format seen in Open ModPlug Tracker along with DAC using the in-track IDs.

Master G, I believe, refers to "GrandMasterGalvatron", which was an alias used by Aquaslash a while back. It would be safe to just credit him under his current name.

Yours is more organized, though. And it even shows the DACs and PSG3 too.

Also... All the results screens from my hack were fixed and they're now finished too.
