SSRG 2.0 is now online, with as many of the features I promised that I could get done for this launch. Please feel free to start using the new sections, such as hacktube! If you are experiencing DNS problems, such as the new site, but old forums, or vice versa, give it a few hours and these issues should eventually subside.

I hope you like the new stuff thats on offer. There are a few things I need to fix and polish off, and please report any bugs. I'm aware of the date problem of some of the hacks on hacktube, I'll get round to fixing that shortly.

Also I strongly advise you use the FireFox web browser to view the site, as currently it looks like a disaster in Internet Explorer. If anyone with CSS experience is able to create an IE compatible CSS, I'd be very grateful.

    Anyway, enjoy!

Sonic 4's an SSRG project now?

Also it goes to an IPS Installer page.

As well as that some hacks are outdated (ie: soniNeko) but I'm sure that can be fixed.

EDIT: 404 page is fucked up a bit, especially on sites such as the art archive.

    Yep.

    Fixed, thanks ;)

Yeah, well the idea with outdated hacks is I've gone through and tried to link them to peoples accounts on here so they can delete them etc.

Yeah images and CSS are a pain... I'll have to sort that out.

Just a heads up, I'm having a few problems with email at the moment, apologies to those who registered and haven't got the activation mail. I should have this sorted soon.

    update: fix'd.

update 2: put on a new forum skin which SeanieB helped me with. It's not perfect, but it'll do for now.

Also, to avoid confusion between Hacktube and the Forum, I've disabled display names. Let me know if you want your login changed.

The site looks awesome. I know I mentioned it to you Q, but figured I'd post it here. I say make the icons on the home page menu more Sonic themed. The Hacktube selection looks kind of weird with a SNES styled controller. =P

Feel free, just let me know what you plan to do before you do it just to make sure it fits with my "curriculum" :)

Very impressed with the changes! I also love the ability to play custom hacks within the browser. It truly adds onto the Sonic Hacking "approach" for this website. Also, I'm using Safari 3 on Mac OS X Leopard and everything works fine so far!

Sorry about any problems people may have had with the board lately, this was due to a change of URL, I've fixed this now.

Eww... can you please put everything back on the forums subdomain? I'm not used to typing anything else, and it makes the URL look aesthetically ugly.

The problem I found was that I could get as far as typing forums.sonicre and it would complete it to Sonic Retro instead of here, so I figured this might be a way of fixing that issue. Perhaps boards.sonicresearch.org or something might be a better option.

I suggest you get the subdomains back for the people who had them before, like Sonic 2 Recreation's topic has broken posts because RHS showed images using a SSRG subdomain, same goes for the Sonic the Hedgehog Remix soundtracks.

Awesome bar FTW - I can just type res and the SSRG forums index pops up.
