    If you've been wondering what that IRC link at the top of the forums was about, worry no more, as we now have an online IRC client located at http://sonicresearch.org/cgiirc/. So click the link, enter a username, and connect to our IRC chatroom filled with SSRG regulars! Any type of friendly discussion is welcome.

    It is nice that there is a built-in IRC client, but what is the address for the SSRG IRC channel if you are using a seperate IRC client (e.g. mIRC, Visual IRC, etc.)?

    Port: 6667, theres a SSL port but I can't remember it off the top of my head, I think it may be 9998.

    Just a heads up, phpDenora has been implemented on the IRC network. phpDenora is a statistics generator that gives out basic information about the network itself, channels, and users on the network. I also recently enabled channel statistics gathering on #ssrg, so now when you go to the channel's statistics page you can view activity stats as well.
