Anywho. For my title screen. It's a partial mock-up because I added the "t" and t-looking "y". I'll fix it. Also, if anyone knows how to get Sonic in there at the same time, let me know.

A mock up of my propsed title screen for Sonic the Hedgehog Remix. ANd it conforms to the Mega Drive standards, so it's more than possible of being inserted.

So can you like post the old screens of Remix? I know some of us wanted to see them, but couldn't because the SGMC was down at the time.

I'm currently compiling a project thread for Remix. I'll post in-game screens and a playable demo of a 90% complete Green Hill.

The title screen is like Sonic 65's hack but if it's a good programmed screen that's good.

You know, it's not hard to make a brand new menu screen. Just load a new object which, when you press up or down, increases or decreases a mappings frame number, and then you set up a routine that does a different action based on that mappings frame. That's what Sonic 2 does. If nothing else, it'd be dead simple to port that object as long as you've got a free RAM byte laying around.

Tried it, I fucked everything up. I fail when it comes to porting. I think it'll be easier to make one myself, I have a general idea. I could set a flag depending on the frame (like you said). Then, if flag is x choose Sonic, if flag is y choose Mighty (Mightt :p), and if flag is z clear SRAM.

Just one detail with this that bugs me - the "Press Start Button" text is way too close to the bottom of the logo, but has a lot of blank space benteath it, making the spacing look unbalanced. Try moving the text down around 8 pixels; it should look a bit more even.

Other than that, awesomeness. = )

I can't make object code from scratch. Oh well, I'll get it eventually. Hopefully I'll be able to port it with some more practice.

A Ristar BG? Nice touch. Now you need some awesome foreground art.

That screams to me Lava Reef Zone Act 2.

That looks very nice, I like it, but what are the red things at the top meant to be?

    New screen.

Key things are the new tree, the new bush, and the slightly altered palette.
