    Jealous of what? I could literally do the exact same thing in less than 10 fucking buttonpresses, and I'm not even graphically inclined.

    GMG, I really like that palette you put on that zone. And I love the title art. Definately the most original I've seen.

    I dunno if it's better or worse, but that's my take on "Driller" For the most part I used Sonic's palette, so adjust as needed.

    Glad you like it, it's a cool enemy. I think it took me a half an hour trying to figure out where I wanted to go with it, I think you should continue your enemy ideas, I had some but I dunno how to incorporate them programming wise. If I ever learn how to program I'd start with a Sonic fan game engine or something... I dunno if I ever do work on a video game I'd probably stick to art and design, but since I've never programmed anything major I dunno if I'd like it or not.

    A few more updates of Rocket Runway Zone;

    [IMG]

    Loops.. Now bare with me, This is a very early stage in the production of these loops. I'll add various designs, decorations, etc later, but for now, i'm just glad I atleast got it working.

    Launch base with a little bit of flying battery.. And now a little bit of Death Egg aswell.

    I've just finished doing this after many hours of failed attempts (What I did was take whichever 8x8 tiles that weren't going to be used, open up another SonED window, and just replicate what I saw from the death egg's 8x8, then pieced together the 16x16, etc, as i'm totally inferior in terms of technical stuff ^_^ .. And, Sometimes I would make the mistake of using 8x8 tiles that were already in use, so yeah).

    Looks cool, but it could use more shading.

    It reminds me of an 8-bit rendition of the Sega Genesis version of Scrap Brain Zone. Mostly the background, but it's cool.

    Right so, I need an opinion, and since I asked in retro I might as well also ask here:

    A: [IMG]B: [IMG] C: [IMG]

    A vs B vs C?

    Not B, as it's a bit too dark. The other two are nearly indistinct to me, maybe C if I had to choose.

    I'm not as fond of the darker, redder BG in this situation.
