Yeah, don't do something so big for someone on the internet unless more than just one person asks for it.

I agree, that first picture is full of win. I can't tell from a picture, but are those red car lights cycling to make it look like they're moving? Either way, it is awesome. I love the Scrap Brain palette too.

This is Hidden palace in sonic 3, but would certainly be impressive in either hidden palace though! ;)

What he means is that his PORT of S3K Hidden palace to Sonic 2 has a loop in it.

I re-did the artwork in the level select background (It's only a small difference), and I've over-hauled the palette:

    What's your choices then?

It still seems a bit difficult to read. The white text blends in with the light yellow. I like how the Debug and Super Sonic codes are listed in the menu. Can one just click on it and have it activated or are they just simply there to tell the player the code? That's a neat idea though.

The codes are there to remind me that I've changed them, since I have an unfortunate habit of forgetting them. (Especially the all emeralds one for some reason).

Maybe if i darken the writing that would work...

Make the background not having that much contrast and make it darker. It's damn hard to read the text in my opinion.

As others have already stated, the text is hard to read and I think it's a result of the background being too distracting. I would do what Selbi suggested and darken the background a bit.
