Whoa, that was an awesome video and you should feel awesome! I like how you did that timer after destroying a speed shoes monitor, even though I'm wondering why you can't see the other elements of the HUD. Another thing, why isn't the speed counter being updated in the air?


Also, I like how YouTube screwed up that video by adding a blur a effect, which actually doesn't look bad. (Or did you really do that?)

 

Thats pretty neat so far! I like your logo at the start, you certainly know asm. Though although cool, bumbers? in ghz? I dunno.... the sound effects are nice as well. This could turn out to be a really good hack in the future.

 

Nice think with the HUD. Although, wouldn't it probably look better if it came onto the screen, slowed down like it does in the video, then carry on in the same direction? "Difference being it carrys on in the same direction and doesn't stop, just slows down". XD

 

Nice art you got there. Is that EHZ in GHZ?

 

Sorry if I sound annoying, but that level's song sounds a bit familiar. From where that was found?


Well... Congratulations, everything there is fantastic. The way that the level end's tally comes is way funny. I've also liked the sound effects you sent to the bumpers.

 

I found those pinball bumpers to be interesting, it sounds as though it's using PCM sound data, if so, I find it more impressive that it didn't seem to interrupt the normal music drum samples badly at all! In general, your hack has a nice sense of style filled with some unique and interesting concepts, I'd like to see some new level art though =P

 

Yeah, the bumper sound is from Sonic CD, it is ported pefectly!

 

I thought I heard some familiar sounds XD.

 

It's a port of Journey to Sillius (NES)'s Stage 1 theme.

 

Ah, okay. Thanks... But it isn't what did I asked about the song.

 

He implies that it's the exact tune being used in the second zone of my hack, Sonic Super Deformed. I think he is asking if that is where he got the idea or the midi to use that track. Since it's a rare and old game, it's odd that someone that is 17 years of age would have thought about the game or soundtrack without getting the idea for it from somewhere else, be it a VGM website or youtube video.


It's an awesome rendition of the song, I must admit though.

I don't the the data to the song is similar to that of the version you made Eduardo, not from what I hear. Voices are also different and such. Besides, the new version you made for SSD is much better anyway. =P

You sure like metal sonic huh? these seem sought of interesting, I have to ask though in this metal sonic overloaded, you can be metal sonic and kirby? whos the other character?. The art is ok, but nothing special. And I lol'd at evil sonic in eggmobile.

 

The other characters are Darkon and Kirby (accidently added White before knowing how to add a 3rd pallete)


they can be choosen by pressing B or C at title screen.
