3rd Background Layer?

    Well, I'm kind of asking this because I've seen a couple of hacks that had a 'background behind a background' and it seems as if they made a 3rd background plane (Jester's Challenge and Placid Sapphire Zone from S Factor are some examples) Is this what they did? (And maybe someone could possibly explain to me how they do it?)

    They didn't create a third background layer. That's impossible. They've pulled off an optical illusion by means of sophisticated ASM and VRAM use. Just like in Sonic 2's Hill Top, and several of Sonic 3's zones. And, I highly doubt anyone will explain it to you.

    Nah, he's out vacationing in European Mexico. Besides, Adel could easily study the HTZ defamation code and background scrolling and go from there.
