Nice boss edit, but it kinda makes those platforms unnecessary.

Like I said before, that's some nice artwork you got there. It's a shame you haven't made a full level out of it. Also, I would suggest getting rid of that 45˚ slope at the start of the level.

    EDIT: Also:

    >unnamed zone

    >title card says "CENTRAL MACHIN ZONE"

I could make a living entirely direct, but that would be silly.

But seriously, many chunks were defaced and their need to re-do, not five minutes.

And what about No Name I just don't know the name. :DDD

Manually drawn in SonED (even though it's pretty much just bits of art from SCD), since I didn't feel like putting up with all the issues that arise with art importing. Still too repetitive, but it's at least presentable. Also a bit of a preview of the edited sprites I'm doing for Sonic. Trying to go for a style similar to Sonic 3, but a bit cleaner and with better use of the different shades.

    Any thoughts?

Looking good there with the new zone art, and even the sprite edits for sonic as well.

This piece of art looks very beautiful, it's amazing how a simple BG can change the level. Sonic's arts looks very detailed and very well done.

I just worked on some art for a cavern type level which will replace Aqua Lake in my hack. I thought I might as well show it off.

Wow, that's looking pretty good. The artwork itself is great and I love the color palette used on everything. Looking forward to seeing what you can do to the rest of the levels.

*Edit* New page, thought I may as well quote it in here.

*Another edit =P* Actually, just go back the one page, give the post the +rep it deserves, not too often we see such nice changes to the 8-bit games.

Well, another little bit of work S3K Pro Survivor, with some improvements in palettes or not. It depends on your opinions. *-*

of course it is not only the palettes that I'm trying to improve, but also layouts.

    something to say?

Everything's looking pretty good, especially HCZ and ICZ, and it's nice to see someone recolor the competition levels for once, all of which look very well done. Though the SOZ palettes could use a bit of touch up, and I personally think your first SSZ palette (the dark purple one), looked much better.

Touched up my new BG a bit more, decided to upload another screenshot since the one I posted yesterday honestly already makes me kind of sick.

Also, here's the same place, but in the bad future:

That background looks really great. As for the sonic sprite, It looks ok but the thing that doesn't look right are the size of his spikes. Besides that, this hack is looking great with good art edits and advanced modifications.

The spikes look fine to me. 'Looks like a mix between the S3 Sonic and the modern Sonic. As long as he's not the new Sonic Boom version where he would be standing as tall as that damn tree, it doesn't bother me.

I haven't shown anything in forever, so why not..

The side blocks work just like the Sonic 3K Slots too; they turn from blue, to yellow, to red, to goal. Makes for a much harder Special Stage. :U The background deformation was a bitch, but it's in too.

With a few small changes, it makes for a much harder special stage; there are no rings due to.. reasons, that some probably already know, but with the walls now blocks like that, and most peppermint blocks in by the emerald now those lovely blocks that turn eventually into goals too, these special stages are now a real pain in the arse to beat.

Well, hey guys! I am back!  And I am back with my new Sonic 1 Coop Hack, that I have been working on for quite a while now. So I might as well show off some progress that I have done with it so far.

Here are the new features to this hack:

    - New Monitors (As shown in the video; Combi-Ring, CharSwap, and Health+)

    - New Health Bar (Works exactly like the health bar in the shooting levels of Sonic Adventure 2)

    - New timer (Now in only seconds)

    - Camera is now connected between the 2 players

Comments & Criticism are always welcome!
