Knux and Tails palette fix help

I'm doing a sonic 2 hack & I need help on this.

How do I fix the Knux And Tails Palette?

 

Can you embed a screenshot or at least send a png file instead? I can not view tga files.

Second of all:


- Did you edit Sonic's palette to match Knuckles'?


- Why does Tails need any palette fixing? He looks good.


EDIT: If you followed the "Porting Knuckles to Sonic 2" Guide, you've probably realized that there's that "Importing Knuckles' Palettes" part.


EDIT 2: You could've at least tried to fix it by yourself. This shows that you have no understanding of what you're doing, and you just copy and paste code from guides and hope that it works. If it doesn't, you just post a topic to help you and copy the code people gave you as a solution.

 

I think that his problem maybe something other.

If he have Knuckles + Tails game mode, I'm pretty sure it's game mode $4, when Knuckles alone is $3 (at least in the guide). So, in this case may help changing all checks for Knuckles art, palettes, etc. from "check if game mode is Knux, if yes/not, do something" to "check if game mode is Knux, if greater/less, do somethng".

 

See, this is the problem. People follow these guides with absolutely no understanding of what it tells you to do. He should be able to figure out what to do with all the pieces there, unless of course, he made a mistake somewhere along the line.

 

I was able to pull this off through examining the code and using the absolutely wonderful comments to piece everything together (although my hack did it kid of backwards; I made knux the default, then readded sonics' palletes )

 

Knuckles and Tails is a different character ID so you need to include a check for that as well to load the Knuckles palettes too.
