the palettes clash too much. The blue is too dark in comparison to the orange. Also, I genuinely hope that purple-pink color isn't supposed to be part of the art, because it looks awful. If you fix the color scheme, it could be great!

Inspired by Sonic Boom or Sonic Battle whatever floats your boat lol So much easier to show a gif of a new move instead of a video.

Edit: Its the stomp move from the demo, but better.

Excuse the minor video glitches near the parts with the trap door.

This is my new project that I started not to long ago. After Esrael drop Neto Assembler Editor I jump to the chance to check it out.  After fiddling around with it for awhile and getting a grasp of how it works. I came up with this idea and I just want your thoughts.I want it to be better of course so C.C.is welcomed.

Hello, I'm back again ...I want to say that all the time. I trained in graphic depiction of ...

And then something lately I draw very bad ...

Overall, I practiced all the time ... That's what happened in the end ... (Sorry for my bad English)

Nice!, I like it!. I can only see a bit of the background but its looks great and the sunset setting works well with it. Are those tall things buildings? whatever they are they look very nicely detailed.

Some experimentation with Triad... which do you prefer? It's for a mini-hack.

I prefer #2, it looks more like Sephia colors, #1 feels off and #3 is too green.

That makes 2 votes for #2, with 1 vote for the others. BTW to give context this is for a 1920's gimmicked vaudeville style silent movie style hack. Once I get a few more votes I'll make a final decision on the color scheme.

Either that... or I'll simply make a setting to alternate between these, and a straight black and white style.

I finally finished this layout :) (as I said earlier, I suck at making multiple paths)

    C&C welcome

Please tell me you plan on replacing the graphics and music. I just hate it when Sonic 2 hacks are just pallette and layout hacks, and that's mostly what all Sonic 2 hacks are.

I like the second one. first one seems a tad bit dark in certain areas. the third one looks good too but it's something about the colors thats seems a bit off to me IDK. But again I say go for the second one.

Level art feels like the most tedious part of changing a Sonic game imo and S2/S3K have a LOT of zones that tend to be larger than S1 levels as well, so it's no surprise you don't see the level graphics completely changed for them as often. I'm still amazed when I see big level art changes for even just S1 like Solar and LooneyDude's recent projects.

JoenickSRB's hack is one of the few I can think of that has a lot of different level art, and it's still in the works.

I'm gonna check out Animemaster's recent video tutorials, so hopefully I can get the ball rolling on my own level art, but yeah... tedious no matter what way you look at it and yet tends to be the biggest draw for most people when you showcase it (I'm actually kind of surprised by that).

I'd go with #2 as well.

I see nothing wrong in a hack (Sonic 2) have only layouts and palettes edited in my opinion. Not all hacks of the world need to have arts (or at least extremely detailed) changed, just look at Sonic 3 D.A Garden edition(but I don'lt know if in future this hack will have arts edit).
