I will say that I like the idea of that title card.

Oh my, now that is sexy. Seriously, the only flaw with the palette is that New Dream Island's orange background looks like orange juice, to me anyway. That is some nice tiling.

I like the edit to the treee trunks. I'm not sure if it's borrowed or not, but either way, it works really well!

A small something I started recently for the contest; assuming of course I have enough time, I may be able to finish it.

    Fingers crossed~

I'm getting some big Sonic CD vibes from that art. Nice work, as usual!

Holy hell that looks awesome! The bottom part of the background reminds me of the one from the chaos layer. if you can manage to finish this for the contest, I'll definitely look forward to playing this, but if not then.... I still look forward to playing this lol.

Your awesomeness level has just increased by 90, in case it wasn't already high enough :p

I love this and want to see more of it, definitely.

Whoa! That looks absolutely amazing!  Looks a lot like a Sonic CD level.

As everyone else is saying, I want to see more! Let's hope we all get a playable demo from you soon

As if the style the art is drawn in isn't good enough on it's own, the colour selection is just perfect and makes it even more incredible. Exceptional work as always. Is this going to be a full hack or is it a Pana style one zone hack specifically for the contest?

It is a one zone hack yes, but I promise to make it a good one, hopefully with transitions and such...

As for the colour scheme, I'm so glad you've noticed!  I'm not often good when it comes to keeping the FG and BG colours separate (in my honest opinion, it's probably just a fluke and will never happen again, but let's not rock the boat~).

If there's one thing I've noticed occurs a lot in your colour selections, you tend to put a heavy emphasis on blues and purples (chaos layer, starry night zone and that water zone in s factor to name a few) which is why it makes it so refreshing to see that broken up this time around with the greens and orange thrown in the mix. They are not a choice of colours I've seen mixed before, except maybe Wacky Workbench Past, and I was never fond of that zone. I think that's what makes it work so well, almost in a "this shouldn't work, but for that reason, does" kind of way. Really looking forward to what else you do with this, definitely one to keep an eye on even if it is only a single zone.

Do my eyes deceive me? are we actually going to have a sonic 1 gg/ms 16-bit remake?

But in all seriousness, that's lookin pretty sweet there. I'm assuming this is going to in place of the original special stage? either way, I'm definitely keeping my eye on this. also do the bumpers actually work at all by any chance?

Well, everything is working like it should, I'm only waiting for music. It will be used as Special Stage now, the rotating one maybe will be used as bonus stage instead. Also thanks to all others for their opinions :)
