I've been trying to add a new song to Sonic 1 (Scrap Brain from the 8-bit version) using xm3smps/oerg, but I just can't get the voices/instruments right (the pitch is weird or it sounds weird and I can only find 2 OK instruments). I need some help with this. Is anyone willing to help out? Here's the failed attempt and the .xm file. I got the midi at http://www.vgmusic.com/music/console/sega/gamegear/. I'm new to these forums and this is my first post, so sorry if I posted this in the wrong spot (I don't know at all).

Try using Mid2Smps. It's more simple and you can also edit the midi to how you want it to sound. That's my recomendation.
