But Star Light Zone is my favorite level in Sonic 1 for the Genesis. Dx Jokes aside I can't freaking wait for this, I love Mega Man X.

 

Its' just a little bit I did for the hub world in my Robotnik Returns 2 hack. Now that I see how quickly I can port the levels, though, I'm very seriously making Sonic and Friends in Mega Man X. Can't do the bosses quite yet, but hopefully I'll learn.

@Pacguy That's really impressive! Especially since the SNES is less limited in both color choices and colors on screen. I can't wait to see your hack's next release.

Well before jumping to conclusions, perhaps we should actually consider the numbers like he wants us to. :V

The title is 05, 16. So that must mean something.
The numbers in the video also contain digits from 0 to 7, but no higher. In other words, 8 and 9 are both absent.
There seems to be a pattern to the numbers that I cant quite put my finger on. 20001 is repeated twice, and both 151601 and 150201 are very similar.
Just a couple of observations to get the old gears turning.

 

Five Years, the year is 2016, let us also remember that Doctor Robotnik's Creature Capture ~ Sonic Before the Prequel (as I like to call it) also had a little something in the Go~Kart Minigame after beating Markey's record, that there are only 04 Ring Rides, and The Next Level used the Fluid/Smooth Spriteset, literally everything has led us to the possible announcement and/or release of at least 03 titles by him that could come from this cryptic message.
Pana der Hejhog: Fifth Anniversary Special, The Ring Ride V, and Jester's Challenge II are all possible candidates from this teaser trailer, but perhaps this is something entirely new up his sleeve, I do not believe that he will keep us waiting when the time comes to figure out what it be; either way, I am attempting to decode the numbers as we type, I hope that it will not take too long, I am sure that it will be a lovely warp through time for the lot of us.

 

What if there is none of the above? Maybe even something completely new? We don't know yet and to confirm that it's something at the moment.

Perhaps this thread should be split off into its own thing?

 

Release date? Anyway hopefully we will get more clues for it.

 

As long as we're brainstorming, I think he'll do something related the test videos he made a couple years ago.

Or maybe it can be an update to The Chaos Layer.
We also can't rule out the possibility that Markey is using his status as an excellent hacker to trick us into get hyped up over nothing.

I bet Markey's having a field day reading our speculations.

 

Think that may not be the case. Also I rather think it's Sonic 1 The Next Level being complete. However we don't know until something comes from MarkeyJester himself.

 

Or maybe he's just messing with us and they have no meaning at all!
