This font for the monitor numbers looks familiar, I remember this being used in Level 032 of the Strange Mazes in Ms. Pacman (Sega GS/SFC ports), they were smaller in size in that, if my memory serves correctly, but your variant is virtually identical in design.
I presume that these number sprites were taken from it, or were they made by hand?

Had to ask out of curiosity, it is not common that we view this font in other titles, those ports of Ms. Pacman are the only titles that I have seen it used in up to now, to my current knowledge, so it is nice to view it getting some form of attention for the first time since 1996.

While the monitors look nice (and they are main point of the screenshot), I think that you should work on the palette, for example in the BG the mountain tops are brighter than be bottoms and look weird imo (however if it's intended, ignore this part of my opinion).

Having an ocassion, I also want to show my own screenshot:

That reminds me of the second phase of the DEZ mini boss in S3K. Awesome work as always.

The boss that was made popular in Shooter and Ivan YO's Egg Factory has become ever more difficult, this variant of the boss fight literally looks as if it would play that way, simply without the Anti~Gravity system that was used in it, which indeed will spike up the challenge massively.
I presume that the Periwinkle coloured Laser will be limited in its blast, so that Sonic would be able to run under the Egg~O~Matic and make it to the other site of the screen without getting damaged easily?

Yeah, that was the main inspiration for this part of the fight, however I swapped the order of phases, so this is the first one. The second one is more "custom". The energy balls are here to make him harder to hit, because as he it's in his non-shooting state, you may easily and fast give him the required hits. To make it fair, the shield rotates veeeery slow.

It says that the file was created 7th July 2016 and last modified at 11th July 2016, so it's 4 days in total (including breaks and/or RL occupations). This phase itself took me less than 1 day to do.

And thanks for your opinions, of course.

Been working on a palette for Act 2 of Marble Zone. I like it, but I feel like it deviates too far from Act 1.

Both palettes are great, but I personally prefer the second one. The first one just looks to blue in comparison to the second one, with it's nice red/yellow/black/orange contrast. Not as if I'm saying anything against the prior palette; if I had seen any of these on there own I would have given kudos.

The GIF quality is poor, but it should be good enough:

Just showing off what happens when you complete a save game in RR2. You get access to the level select, plus some unused levels and characters!

EDIT: And I apologize for the shit video quality, I hate it as much as anyone :I

EDIT2: Credit to Clownacy for the multipage level select tutorial, the custom player select functions were my own, though.

i personally wouldn't showcase that beforehand...
But while I don't have the power to judge, this looks neat. Outside of poorly drawn text on signs.

Yeah, my art skills are bad, and I did the signs by hand. It's why my hack constantly recycles artwork. Also, I just wanted to give people some incentive to beat the game when it does come out.

Yeah, good point, this screenshot doesn't really show much, I'm sorry! XD
Yes, I edited the palette and the level layout, except you can't really see much in the screenshot.
    However, I do have this:
