Looks great, loving the revamped music and sound effects. I think two lives is too much of a reward for a single challenge though.

That palette cycle on the blocks in the foreground looks distracting and should be removed, Also, this zone looks very similar to the last zine you showed off, which isn't a good sign. Your work overall seems to be rushed or at least lacks effort. You work looks to me like you drew a couple of simple tiles and decided to fill the screen with them. What is even supposed to be the theme of the zone and what makes it different from other zones? They all look to me like blocky messes.

With what I've seen of your artwork since you started is that you seem to prefer things looking good than things looking interesting. As a result, your work hasn't really evolved much. I'd much rather see a badly drawn tree than a perfectly drawn geometric shape with little detail. At least that would show that you are trying to improve.

If there is one thing I like, their the color changing line platforms. They look pretty cool.

I'm sorry if it seems that I am constantly criticizing you. It's an admirable thing to be able to draw your own levels or right your own music, and I really want to see you use those skills to make something really enjoyable and memorable. If you stick with mediocraty, your work won't be much more influential than if you hadn't done anything at all.

I really like how things are looking so far. It's interesting to see a factory setting but with lava in it. One thing I would change would be improving the color selection as things seem to be too purple, especially underground. A would also change the grey to a slightly different color (probably something a bit oranger) because I don't think it goes well with purple. Otherwise, good job.

Is this artwork more creative and less looking like previous zone?

    Mockup.
I've completely remade UTS1's Egg Plant Zone. I thought it looked like trash before so I decided to completely redesign it.
Edit: Also the mountains and other stuff also are supposed to move as well, similar to how Sonic 2's Hill Top BG does it

This art is something that we would see on Sonic CD. You should be contracted to work on SEGA.

Nah. My art is pretty amature-ish, and I've seen way better artwork. There are people who deserve to work at Sega way more than I do.

Oh wow that looks fantastic! Much better than last art I've seen from you in fact. I guess you should put something in the sky though, it looks a little empty, some clouds would probably look fancy.

I Think that is cool :v
Btw, actually i think that everyone draws better than me :'v (*internal screaming of agony*)
I don't even know how i'm going to do Good Future Star Light and Marble Zone. Future Hill was easy to do, because of Sonic CD, So yeah, everyone is better than me on drawing. Maybe i could get help from someone, but meh, everyone has better things to do.
When the final version of the hack will be released? Looks pretty cool. :v

I've been busy, making my own hack. This special stage, that I've made, is not perfect, but it's alright. It just needs some tweaking to ensure there's no issues or bugs.

    Another mockup.
I finished the bottom portion of the background, so I made this lazy mockup (hence why there's no life icon and some of the tiles aren't edited).
    Full background:
And there's also even more tiles which are supposed to animate.

When the striped part is sloped, it looks noticably thinner than when it isn't. You should thicken it so it looks more consistant. Also, the shading on the sky looks odd with it being really dark on the top. Unless you can lighten that part, you could add more dithering to smoothly shade it to a less dark tone. Otherwise, that looks great.
