I think it's just me... but the font for the hack name looks rather odd...

Have you figured out why the background is having issues?

The problem with the BG is that GHZ art is in two seperate files, Primary and secondary. The title screen only uses one, iirc.

And that font is the SegaSonic font =P

I think one of the big problems with the font for the title screen is that a couple of edges are too sharp. The s in modernisation in particular seems more like a 5 as a result of this.

It's great! The text could be spiced up a bit though.

Palette swaps for acts is a very good idea, don't know why it isn't done more often. Good way to increase variety with relative ease.

I've started the ASM over, as it was messy, but all of the features have returned, including new ones!

    Here's something new:

The Original Spring Yard Zone, nothing new here (act 1)

Spring Yard Zone, Act 2, at night, now with moar Stars

And SYZ3, daytime. I love the pallette personally.

So, what do you guys think of this?

    What's Implimented:

    Perfect Spindash (Kudos to Lightning/Puto)

    Double Jump

    Jump-Dash

    Different Pallettes for each act

Slight Art differences in each act, to Aid the pallettes

    Different Music for Each Act

    Multiple Characters

    What's Planned?

    Super Sonic

    Extra Zones

Tails might be implimented, I think I could do it, with a lot of work. That won't be until the later stages though.

    New Art

Completely Original Music, all written/composed by myself. (See below)

I'll also be taking into account any ideas that you guys throw in.

    Now, for the music:

    Trainwreck:

EP Intro & Trainwreck MP3 (The Original)

    Act 1

    Act 2 Remix

    Why:

    Why MP3 (The Original)

    Act 1

    Act 2 Remix

    Zone 3 (Untitled):

    Act 1

    Act 2

    Main Theme/Invincibility:

    MIDI

    Comments/Crits?

I worked hard on creating the Act 2 Remixes =P

Edit: There'll be another MP3 and 2 MIDIs posted when I get home =P

    Edit2: Update:

    Remember Me:

    Remember Me MP3 (The Demo)

Act 1 (this is the full MIDI, not edited to be converted yet)

    Act 2 Remix

Just a small note: The spindash obtained by following the two guides is not "perfect". Yes, it has dust, but it lacks the camera lock when spin-dashing. I've been meaning to add that to the guide for ages now, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

You've got opinions on the music already. To be honest, there isn't really much to opinionate on at this moment in time.

You've obviously never written a song before :p

A lot more work than you think goes into them, I suppose I'm after opinions musically. Maybe Saxman would have some helpful c&c's. =P
