Mr. Cat's 16 day challenge! [RELEASED!]

this is pretty damn good for any sort of project, let alone one that was restricted to 16 days of dev time. yeah sure there are flaws, but i think there are more positives than negatives here

 

I've given it a go. And for 16 days, it's pretty neat. I just wish you spent a little bit more time on it as the game didn't last long:

Gave it a try, and for a hack that was made in a little over half a month, this is really good. The music and graphics are really good, there's some decent level design, and that block puzzle in act 2 made me have a eureka moment I haven't had in awhile. The boss, as easy as it is, looks cool and is unique in that it uses RNG, something that many custom bosses in other hacks don't do or do poorly.

There is just one gripe I have, some of the enemy placements. Granted, this isn't really that bad in all honesty as many hack I've played and even some of the official games. I'm not a Sonic expert either so I guess it's just me.

Either way, really good hack, if there's more stuff like this coming out I'll be glad to give it a go.
