About the Forum

Is this forum just all about Sonic or is it specifically only for fangames and hacks?

 

I mean, you could just browse around the forum and judge for yourself instead of making this thread that the mods will probably complain about, buuut ...
I'd say that this forum mostly focuses on the development of ROM hacks. Occasionally there are discussions about recent Sonic media, but most conversations revolve around ROM hack development. If you're looking for a forum for fangames, join SFGHQ.

 

This one is for Discussion and Q&A regarding ROM hacking and mods as stated. For discussion on all other things, that's what The Lounge forum is there for.

 

We'd prefer it if the forums generally kept the motif of investigating the internals of Sonic the Hedgehog games, hence the name Sonic Stuff Research Group, but as Stephen pointed out, we do have general subforums for posting about whatever your heart desires.

So long as you stick to the rules and try to contribute in a meaningful way to whatever topic you're posting in, you won't get much pushback from us.
