It's time for an update! I have ported my hack over to Sega CD. Thanks to HCKTROX for his Sonic 1 CD disassembly. Here's Lavender Town on the Sega CD! (ignore the glitch at the beginning, YouTube did that and does not occur in-game)

Cool. I'm happy that the Sega CD is receiving more love. :p

(It's actually coincidental that you ported your hack, as that's pretty much what I've been doing all day.)

The Sega CD is great and all, some people (like me) don't really have access a good emulator for one (I can't find a good bios file for kega). Perhaps you guys could consider making your hacks for both the raw genesis and its disk drive counterpart?

My issue real issue is I usually use a really funny android emulator, which only does default genesis games.

Download Kega Fusion for Windows/Mac/Linux. It supports Sega CD.

I usually use my android emulator. I can't sitin front of the computer as often as I'd like too.

Then use the MD.emu emulator. It has Sega CD support.

You cannot expect someone to develop a different version of their hack just because you want to use some bad emulator or can't be bothered to set up your bios files.

It's either that or the shitty MD rendition of the song I made.

Don't be hard on yourself. Making SMPS songs are a huge pain. If I attempted to make one, my speakers would short-circuit from trying to produce something outlandishly terrible.

Not necessarily true. You can actually compose something in FL Studio and if you know which instruments you're using, you can have it converted to an SMPS binary file in 10 minutes flat. Use the Ultimate Genesis Soundfont and it's even easier to convert it since you're already using what are technically SMPS voices.

MD.emu has this feature, but (for example) Sonic Megamix freezes itself after title screen.

Yay, you like me! I don't have much time on my PC, so I usually use my tablet to play something. Download RetroArch and have fun. =P

Time for a small update. After a couple hours of experimenting and research, I finally got my Punch-Out portion of my hack ported to Sega CD! (Once again, ignore the video glitch at the beginning, not in-game.)

This hack is going to be really interesting when it debuts. Looking at what you're trying to do, though, I doubt it will even be ready by next year, though :(

I'm trying to get it to be ready by the end of this year. If I don't, I don't, but I would have it ASAP.

Where have I seen the concept for that Robotnik monitor icon before?

Hmm... I can't quite put my finger on it. I'm sure I've seen it somewhere recently. Just can't remember where. Hmm...

Again due to lack of time I could not manage to complete my goal for v0.7 of Retro Graphics Toolkit for today however I am getting very close. Undoing almost all sprite actions is now complete and sonic 2 sprite mapping importing and DPLC is now complete [IMG]

I do believe that tomorrow is a realistic goal.
