That's actually a nice design and for some reason the green flag works well with it.

Holy hell, that looks really nice! Do I spot a mistake on the 2 middle (left and right) clouds though? Looks like they've been resized right down the middle.

I think it's caused by a "stretch to window" or "ntsc aspect" option.

It can't be, because if you look across everything else has a normal aspect ratio and shape.

I <3 that green banner, definitely fits the title screen. I love the background too.

It's probably the more-than-crappy deformation it has right now.

That's right. It was unused due to a coding error that SEGA did (or maybe they did technically removed it via code)

Are there any topics dedicated to these findings on SSRG?

I'm still retouching spring yard graphics, slowly.

(the hud is/should be temporary, I wanted to see how things were being displayed there)

Here is the crabmeat SY edition, throwing electric balls unlike its GH colleagues. Actually I'm still unsure about the color scheme. I may invert the grey and yellow depending on how it fits the final appearance of the level, but I'd like to keep this golden version.

Fun-fact about the falling pose: it is based on the walljump pose which was itself based on the "I'm outta here" falling pose from SCD.

All the blocks and platforms have been decorated. I'm trying to keep as much of the original design as possible for now, but I'll probably change their shape later. I'm trying to remove all the red from the level, therefore the changes on enemies and bumpers. Anyway, I wanted to show this pic because of the animation when Sonic hits a bumper (not rolling), it's been there for a while now but I think I had never shown it before.

The 'slightly overdone' look of the new graphics contrast a little too much with the old ones, but many other thing will be decorated/modified/changed in the future.

These bumpers are fantastic. But they has more a "disc" aspect than a bumper aspect. You can send some more circle/3D aspect to the yellow stars of them.

that SYZ art is looking pretty awsome you got there spirituinsanum. looking forward to a beta release or a full one. also a bit of changes that i have made so far in my hack.

btw, I am still working on making some changes for ARZ, so what you will see in the video for that zone will be different. also I will only say this once, for those who is probably going to think from the custom animation for the spring jump saying something like "he probably somehow stole this from megamix", i made it all by myself. (excuse me if i sound rude or angry right now)

To be honest, I'm more concerned for the music and sounds being similar to megamix, not the springing animation. (Really, that SEGA intro sound is a dead give away). I think it's more to the point that; the hack doesn't have much of it's "own" ideas to make it worth while playing, rather than the point of it being "stolen" or not, maybe try some other ideas and techniques because this doesn't look too fun to play.

Yup I second this, basically what I was gonna say. Maybe you should brainstorm some ideas or something.
