I see exactly why you banned me, I just said the action was taken fast.

I admit that I made a mistake, but it's no big deal, I apologized in IRC a few weeks ago and I apologized to Tweaker.

And, That said, there are things that making me stop doing the exact same thing again.

For example, If Tweaker does shit like that again, I'll just ask a member of Sonic Retro to delete it. Simple and straight.

(Plus, the banned lounge is really boring :))

This is absolute hilarity. You have the audacity to criticise Irixion for being a douche, saying he is doing that everywhere, yet you yourself are doing the exact same thing. You won't forgive him for it yet you yourself partake in it and try to justify what you did by my actions. I don't get how your head works, but you seriously need to get a grip on reality.

Well, you wanted other staff in, so here I am. Personally, I am not against Oerg being unbanned. Yeah, he did wrong, but hey, so did Tweaker in my honest opinion.

Where the fuck is MY tea? =P

Anyway, sorry Jimmy, but I'm with Psy here. I'm not against unbanning Oerg... but I will suggest he be watched. I'm getting a little irritated by his superiority complex. So yeah.

You don't have to apologize, I'm really not that passionate either way. Looks like Oerg will be getting unbanned; would be nice to hear Metal Knux's opinion though.

    Oh and ShadowFire:

I've reached a verdict (for now). Oerg will be unbanned on the 23rd of March, as on that day he will have been placed in the banned group for a total of 14 days (2 weeks). Ony objections can be raised by staff in the next few days.

Though it is likely that Tweaker and others who he effected will not see this as effective punishment, we have to be neutral whilst affirming our sovereignty.

Thanks, but I'm wondering why everyone things that what Tweaker did was perfectly legit and he didn't deserve any punishment himself just because he's Tweaker

We only "punish" people when they do something on the forum. While arguably what Tweaker did was a dick move, it didn't take place here, it happened over at the Retro wiki. To be fair you didn't exactly break any of the board rules, I guess it just felt more personal towards me because of the amount of stuff I've gone through since that sourcecode got leaked =P

You can blame Vermont for the belated reply. It's kind of hard to find computers over there, let alone electricity.

I personally feel neutral on Oerg's situation. I wasn't involved in the incident that led to him being banned, and I only acted as a mediator between him and Tweaker because no one else could. I do however feel that people who have done worse have been let off the hook, and that with this case it might have been a bit more of acting like the leak of source code was personal rather than trying to approach it from a neutral POV.

TLDR, it was a dick move for sure, but people have been let back in who have pulled even bigger dick moves.
