• • 137E0 Action 1 Steak by LuigiXHero Is this based on that joke with SuperEgg? I'm not expecting much from this other than a few graphics changes.

  • Apotos Unleashed Pack by tuanpingas I don't really care about Generations mods. This is just Unleashed levels in Generations.

• • Beta Windy Valley (Sonic Lost World) by SonicOtakuSNG It will be cool to see how a Sonic Adventure levels fits in Lost Word

• • Blue Potato the Mcdonalds by Blue Potato Sounds like a joke hack.

• • Doctor Robotnik’s Plan B (REV01) by Painto I've already played this version.

• • Donnie The Chao Special Edition by Team Overload Another joke hack. Since I don't get the in jokes, this hack probably won't be any more enjoyable to me than in previous versions (aside from the one with the Meme Zone)

• • Eggmanland for Sonic Generations by NeKit Again, this is just Unleashed levels in Generations.

• • Ivysaur in Sonic 2 by Pacguy Seeing as Ivysaur wasn't in any platformers that I know of, it will be interesting to see how he plays. Also, what an odd Pokemon choice.

• • Knuckles’ Emerald Hunt by MainMemory Treasure hunting's not my thing but I'd like to see what was added.

• • Lose Tails Or Else by GT Koopa Going by this name, I have no idea what this hack will be like.

• • Metal Sonic Lost World by Joe T.E. Will Metal Sonic have new moves or is it just a reskin.

• • Pantufa the Cat – Extended Edition by VAdaPEGA WHAT??? This is a surprising entry. I can't wait to see the additions.

• • Pepsi in Sonic 1 by Unlimited Trees Another joke hack. Seeing as Pepsi is a beverage, it's hard to imagine what it will play like. I'm expecting Sonic's sprite to be replaced.

• • Pikachu the Mouse by Team Overload This one is interesting. I can't wait to see how it turns out.

• • Robotnik Returns 2 by Pacguy Yes! This was one of my favorites from last year and I can't wait to see how things have improved.

• • Roya Rockwood’s Sonic Mega Collection by Royameadow I assume this is a Sonic Mega Collection reskin. Nothing too appealing.

• • SADX Character Select Mod by MainMemory and SonicFreak94 - Character select mod? Does that mean new characters or does that mean only that single screen is different from the original.

• • SADX Mirror Mode by Morph Assuming this is just Sonic Adventure with mirrored stages, this doesn't seem that interesting to me.

• • Socket the Hedgeduck by GenesisDoes I have been neutral on this hack but I appreciate the work that's gone into it.

• • Sonic 1 – Warped World by Team Overload The last release of this hack seemed kind of noob-ish so I'd like to see how the creators have improved.

• • Sonic 1: Mania Edition by Baraksha I've been excited for this one. I wonder how accurate it will turn out.

• • Sonic 1: Sonic CD Edition by Animemaster This is another one I've been exited for. From what I've seen, the art and coding is fantastic.

• • Sonic 1 Back to South Island by HyperSonic16 I've never heard of this one and there are no assumptions I can make from the title. I'm expecting something pretty basic.

• • Sonic 1 Dream Eater by Team Overload The title for this is interesting and I wonder what the reason for this title is.

• • Sonic 1 NAC Tiny Verison by Joshwoakes I don't understand the title.

• • Sonic 1: Reverse Curse by Campbellsonic Is reversing the curse the goal? What curse does Sonic have?

• • Sonic 2 – 2 Player Madness by Joshwoakes I'm expecting more levels in Sonic 2's 2 player mode.

• • Sonic 2 ReMastered by MrCat It's cool to finally see a hack by Mr. Cat. From what I've seen, his art is great.

• • Sonic 2 UMZ by Trinitronity What? Marble Zone was added to Sonic 2 just so it could be put underwater?

• • Sonic 3 and Blue Knuckles by Blind\\_Jack I hope more has been changed than just Knuckles' color.

• • Sonic 3 and Knuckles: Chaotix Edition by Jdpense Another hack I'm excited for! The preview for this showed a ton of new features that I can't wait to try out.

• • Sonic 4 in 1 by Natsumi Is this an extended version of Sonic 3 in 1 with Sonic and Knuckles or is the similar naming just a coincidence.

• • Sonic Back 2 The Future by Animemaster I really like this hack and hope there are new additions to the last release.

• • Sonic Bash! v2 by redhotsonic I don't have anyone to play two player with but it will be fun to watch streams of this version being played.

• • Sonic Chaos Quest v2.0 by Narcologer I hope the art has improved since the last release.

• • Sonic Frenzy by SteamPoweredPixel I don't know what to expect. I like the title.

• • Sonic Generations – Sonic Colors – Game Land Act 1 Demo by JoeyLaw Just Colors levels in Generations.

• • Sonic Halloween by CamManS5 Sounds interesting.

• • Sonic Labyrinth 2 by Team Overload Why would anyone make a sequel to that game? What game is being used as a base?

• • Sonic Lost World – Green Grove Zone by Knuxfan24 How can you play an isometric level in a 3D game?

• • Sonic Next Genesis by ProjectFm My hack! I hope everyone likes it.

• • Sonic Pocket Winter by ValleyBell and VAdaPEGA A Pocket Adventure hack? Whatever it is, it will probably turn out good.

• • SONIC THE HEDGEHOG & ASHURO by Ashuro I really liked the previous versions so I'm excited for this one.

• • Sonic XE by Team XE What does XE stand for?

• • Sonic: Scorched Quest by Team Painto I didn't play the last version that much so hopefully I'll decide to spend more time with this one. I'm expecting a lot from it.

• • Sonic: Time Twister by Team Overload Time travel mechanics? That's always an interesting thing to put in a Sonic game.

• • Sonic: Virtual Adventure by Ladego Team This one sounds like it has a lot of potential based on the title and who's working on it. I'm expecting a lot.

• • Tails Adventure LX by lordxernom I should get around to playing this.

• • Tails Adventures for Über Players by Bakayote Wow. I didn't expect two Tails' Adventure hacks in one contest. Seeing as it is a slow paced game, I wonder how it can be made harder.

• • The Radikal Ralakimus Hack Pack (WOW!) - Volume 1 by Ralakimus & Bakayote I hope there is new content in this. If not, it's still cool to see multiple hacks in one.

• • Unlimited Trees by Unlimited Trees I wonder if the title is literal?

• • Untitled Sonic 1 Hack by jubbalub This one is looking pretty good.

• • Urban Action: Royan Vacation '16 by Royameadow What? This doesn't sound Sonic-related.

• • White Sonic in SK (Sonic 3 Part 2) by Joshwoakes Who's White Sonic?

I noticed that there is wider variety of games being hacked compared to other years. This is shaping up to be a great contest.

I am both disappointed and relieved that Markey Jester didn't submit an entry (unless that's what the special hack will be).

I stole the name and the idea from Vladikcomper, thats about all the relation with it.

 

I knew I will have a rival for Tails Adventure LX. Damn you, Bakayote.

 

I did everything I could to try and replicate Mania, and it's not 100% accurate or anything, but hopefully you would still like it for what the things I did right.

You do realize Unlimited Trees released this hack to this year's SAGE and that you can go and download it right now if you want right?

Would this be possible to do for other hacks as well? Like, perhaps some person/some team () ran out of time for the contest, but still want their work to get exposure.

Personally looking forward to Scorched Quest. that was one of my favorite hacks from last year.

 

I am interested in Sonic Scorchced Quest, Warped World, Sonic 1 Mania, Sonic and Ashuro, Next Genesis and Dream Eater.

I also think that you will like Sonic Labyrinth 2. >

Due to the fact that I had forgotten to deliver my Pregame Show Audio Logue for Sonic Hacking Contest XIII last year, I am making up for it this time around with a 0100+ minute discussion on the 054 Sonic ROM hacks and PC mods that we will be viewing this time around, which you will be able to listen to below.
I also go a bit further in depth towards the discussion on the Revision 01 prototype for Roya Rockwood's Sonic Mega Collection, as well as the June 019 Demo for Urban Action: Royan Vacation '16, given that this will be the first major time that the community will truly get their chance to view these Texture Packs in action and they needed to know what to expect when going into it; I also discuss how I will be handling Sonic Hacking Contest XIV Online Done Quick this November and December, as well as pose a major question towards the Contest Staff regarding the North American side of our Media Panel, especially due to a certain Tuesday Night event that might (or will) cause a massive decline in ratings if we have any NA streamers in the Primetime and Late Night timeslots; I hope that we will get a definitive answer to that soon, that must be handled well before the Contest Week starts to assure that Broadcast Interference does not become a factor on November 08, I'll discuss that portion again in the SHC thread.

By remaking the zone from scratch. I've actually had this released for a long time, I just decided to see if it would hold up for people who actually know what they're doing when it comes to hacks & mods.
