This version of Stealth's fan game came out in 2003 year, but you'll not find a working download link in Stealth's site. Here's evidence: Stealth's main site. This fan game have for you:
    - playable 2 zones and hub world (Wood Zone)
    - playable 3 characters: Sonic, Tails, Knuckles (and you can play with two characters in the same time like in S3&K or SA3 for example Sonic + Sonic, Tails + Knuckles etc.)
    - new custom music composed by Andre Schroder.
    - 7 add-ons (you also can't download it from Stealth's main site, 1 is official, other was made by various users) + Drowning Island: a recolor of Shining Island Zone with weird dark ambient sound from random electronic music made by me in 10 October 2012 (after I joined to Sonic Retro and SSRG and being inactive to the beginning of 2015).
    - new tiles, backgrounds, badnicks, 2 bosses (Guardian Castle boss has infinite lives so you can't defeat him) etc.
    - level editor, sprite editor, tiles editor, Stealth's documentation about this fan game in Docs folder (how to play and other manuals for this fan game)

    Gameplay Video:

Download Link (I hope it works, if not - tell me): https://www.dropbox.com/s/2m0sf822e1b5dng/Sonic Project Mettrix Demo 4 And Add-ons.rar?dl=0

Warning: to run properly this game - kill explorer process in Task Manager and run launch.exe to run this game on Windows higher than XP, if you'll not do it, you'll have an eye-rape palettes in the game. You can also run this game in DOS or DosBox - just run mettrix.bat and Sonic has not the jump sound in the game, because in DOS version, when Sonic have that - ear rape sound appears.

I hope I didn't break any rules or other shit in with this thread on this forum.

Ha, didn't expect anybody to still be interested in this old crap :p

So yeah, I sorta semi-recently added a redirect to my site so that people who got a really old link could still get TO the page, but apparently it broke a bunch of the links ON the page. Now that it's been brought to my attention, I've just fixed them

While I was at it, I also added a new executable that should get it running for more people under Windows. Unfortunately, there's no full-screen mode, but at least it runs and doesn't require DOSBox

Anyway, this is super-old, and I only make it available as a novelty, particularly since this is still the only place to see Guardian Castle, any of the unfinished levels, and the "add-ons" on that list. A new version using HCGE includes Shining Island and Bronze Lake, where they play much better. The most recent version is linked at the top of the page

If it's the add-on functionality that you're interested in, you'd get more out of modifying the Sonic Example Game for HCGE, which uses the same code as the most recent Project Mettrix demo

I'm just still rather upset that the 3DS experimental build of HCGE is bottom screen only, and last I tried, it only seems to work on early system versions.

Either way, I still enjoy using the engine on Wii, and that it supports so many other "consoles," making anything for it very distributable.

    (Then again, "Emulators. Emulators everywhere!")

This "old crap" is one of my favorite Sonic fan games of all time and part of my childhood :p(Demo 4 is the first version I ever played on my old Windows 98 computer in 2008-2009 and I had very good memories with that game, especially when I randomly pressed "e" button and level editor appears - I was shocked positively back then and I exploring the features of that game for good! :D) And thank you so much for reuploaded links to E01 version of this game. (I'll do a backup if something will happen to your site, because I'm a major fan of this fan game! :D:p). And E01 version is also a reason why I'm using your SonED2 and not SonicLVL - because I grow up with E01 level editor, before I went into Sonic hacking seriously... If I have time and good mood to learn more and do more things, I'll support your fan game, because in my eyes if this game was finished - it will be one of the best Sonic fan games of all time! ;)

Edit: I found I did also a fanpage of your fan game in 2011-2012... via Google Sites :p - https://sites.google.com/site/sonicpmfp/home
