As I already told you, he probably used v0.0.3, put it into a disassembly, splitted it and copied the stuff to his hack. Since the data isn't shifted (because it's a hex edit), that is quite easy to do.Hmpf... I'll just leave a question here. That will wait for Crapymix to reply me...
Hey Crapymix... Where in the world you found the Sonic 1 Harder Levels v1.0 source code?
sonic xero v2.0b

oh and by the way, about the source code, i use the second version of S1HL. for my advice so no one won't ever do the same thing that i did, Eduardo knuckles, as well as for everyone else that have there own hacks, should remove any of there old hacks on other sites that you my have posted them that can be disassembled by others.

Ask me, Asking me is the key for obtain the authorization for everyone else. For everything you want use. Well, this is the last time I will tell something like this: DON'T BE STUPID FROM STEAL CONTENT FROM ANYWHERE ELSE. DO EVERY STUFF BY YOURSELF, OR ASK THE PEOPLE IN WAY TO GET SOLUTIONS AND THINGS!!!!
And for addition, the v0.2, 0.3, 0.4 and 0.5 from Harder Levels will be removed from everywhere when i release the v1.0. And i don't want to discuss about my decision because this is not the topic for this.
Here you go.

Also you Shadow looks small for some reason... And his sprites are weird... And you only use Sonic 3 music I see... Well good luck with that... You'll need it...

Look, let me display my thoughts here, the hack was not fun to play, the layouts are odd and objects are placed in inconvenient and odd spots, the art looks glitchy and out of place, the chunks don't fit in all spots nicely, some palettes are not nice to look at (Althought I will say that SOME turned out ok), the music choises where S3&K all the way as far as I could see, and it's not nice considering that Ive heard them plenty of times in Sonic 1 hacks and it's quite frankly getting boring. Judging by the programming and the way this is setout, you used this program to import those moves, (Also noting that the music selection "i.e. engine" has no doubt been ported using that program too).
So yeah, I'm pretty much not happy with the way you set your argument, moaning about n00bs and how they're generating crap out their arse in 7 seconds flat, when it appears you've pretty much done the same, and it doesn't exactly put you in a great position moan either.
Sorry if my argument sounds harsh here or if it seems out of order, but I feel that it has to be said.

After playing the ones you've put on HackTube just recently today, I can tell you that I am displeased, especially after what you said on this thread.

right now at the moment, i am changing alot of things in my hack. so please forgive me if most of the stuff in it looks horrible. and as for what you think i have used to make my hack, i did not use that program to make it. everything i have done so far, i did myself on my own without the use of that program. other wise if i did use it, the jump-dash would have been going in a up-ward position. although if it is because of the sprites that you think i used S1HS, i only took the art from that particular disassembly of sonic 1 that came with it when i tried it one time, and put it in my own. as for the argument about what i said about n00bs, im done with that.

Yes. But you must improve your art knowledge a lot more. But I seen that you're releasing your content every week, man. This is bad. The major great hacks needs lots of time to have decent work. At least that's what I think.right now at the moment, i am changing alot of things in my hack. so please forgive me if most of the stuff in it looks horrible.

ok - I have had a play and I gotta say it was way to early for you to put this out in public even though you say its beta. Dont be in such a rush to get it out.... do you see team megamix posting new betas/builds every 5 mins? nope, in fact you will notice a lot of the hacks take a lot of time to get a build out and there is good reason for this. Secondly and this isnt just advice to you but to all people who want to learn sonic hacking please dont use the click and add tool thingy... if i have to look at those butchered sonic 3 sprites again I will scratch my eyes out !!! the best way to add new sprites, or even just new tiles to exisiting sprites is sonmaped. Anyway dont be discourraged, there are lots of people who will help you and even more information and resources here, on retro and on rom hacking central. Good luck.
thanks, I kind of needed that. there one small question I gotta ask. exactly how can i make my own custom art on the zones like on sonic uno for instance.

That's what you've gotta find out, that's the whole point of hacking, it's research, it's discovery, there's a whole wiki out there dedicated to sonic hacking in general, why don't you check it out and read through pages you normally wouldn't?exactly how can i make my own custom art on the zones like on sonic uno for instance.

Basically a brain, imagination, a picture of your art, Photoshop and SonED2... Your welcome... =P
Now, inserting the art actually... There's a guide on that in Sonic Retro somewhere... Go find it grasshopper...
