I'm glad your working on this again RHS I can't wait to play this hack ^_^


Fixed ^_^

But anyway, this is looking pretty sweet. Maybe replacing the RHS with Sonic will make the pics true :P

I said replace Red Hot Sonic with Sonic in the pics you took of RHS2 to make them true. Get it now? X_X

I think he means to ask how many zones will be playable in the next public release/beta.

But in RHS2, Sonic was red so it's true already =/

I actually haven't thought of a beta release. The testers hasn't even played it yet =P

EDIT: I slightly improved the art.

I added pipes to the forground. Just to make it a little better. S2beta said the forground could be improved slightly.

As you can see, I added the new booster. This will appear in every (or most) levels. The second image is to show that the booster works.

Comments?

Forgot to mention, the sky's palette has been improved.

Was: Posted Image Now (as shown in above). Has it improved?

Personally I think if you are going to add pipes you might want a little variation, now its rather repetitive. The sky looks better though.

Here, the floor that is straight now meets the slope better. Plus, Sonic sprites is now Sonic3 style!

The slope going up-right is high paned, so it be better looking if it kind of overlapped the floor slighty, as you can see here. The slope going down will not overlap as it is low paned.

These are boosters that go up on the slope. I thought this would be easy to draw but it was a fucking bugger to draw. Done it though. It did look worse than this but I brushed up on it a little today.

Tails also has the S3 style sprites. Plus, he can now fly.

And as usual, he gets tired eventually. The sounds of him flying and getting tired have been put into the game also.

Hey, Knuckles has joined the party! This is lovely. As you can see, I've also put a little bit of extra detail into the floor.

Knuckles showing his climbing skills. You know when Knuckles land on the floor and it makes that liitle Sound Effect? That has also been imported into the game.

I am planning to take the Dash Hoops out of the game. This is because I still can't make Sonic have any airtime. Plus, Tails can fly and Knuckles can glide. It's not fair if Sonic can't do anything, so I'm going to make him have his air dash. Good idea or not?

Questions? Comments?

Thanks to SMTP for the Sonic/Tails/Knuckles help! We went through it together so the flying and gliding and etc will work.
