I have got a little question:

    - I have got the art imported of a cusrtom background. It's great. And it works perfectly. The only question is, that i want to import the palette using SonED2, with the palette importing feature. How can i do that?

    - If someone solves this problem, I'll completely thank that =)

I can't be exact, since I don't have it available here, but, there's the tab called destination or something similar. A regular Genesis pallete line uses 16 colours. As you already know, the first pallete line is Sonic's, and the second is usually used for Badniks. In that tab I mentioned, type in 32, the pallete should be imported good, and there's a colours tab too. In the PCX file, you should use the indexed option and optimise the pallete, if not done already. In there, type in how many unique colours there are in the file. For example, my Sky Base PCX file had 16 colours, so I typed 16 in. I left all the other tabs blank, though.

My memory is a bit foggy though, so if anyone needs to correct me, go ahead.

I'm sure theres a better way, but my method for doing this is to take the art I want to import, make a corresponding pallete for it manually in my fresh SonED2 project, export the blank art with this pallete data (which is displayed in Paint Shop Pro,) copy&paste my art into this blank .pcx - check that the colours are all preent and correct and then re-import it into SonED2. Always works for me. Sometimes dupe colours can be a pain and my fondness for using black as both a transparency and level art can cause a bit of hassle but generally speaking its pretty straight forward. I've never had to use the "import pallete" feature.
