Dalek--Things in sonic don't make sense, but if you want to go all crazy, then: Let's get rid of gravity! Let's get rid of sonic's limbs! Let's make the lava purple!


There needs to be some form of realism. I'm not being a prick--I'm stating my opinion. If you don't like it then kindly shut the fuck up.


As for other colours, some form of brown? Since there's lava, how about a dark red, or gray? And your CPZ, yeah, the tiles need to be a little more concentrated. :lol:

Anyway, this is my hack, and I get to choose the colours, so if it doesn't make any connections to the real world, and you don't like it, then jog on.

 

The underwater palette looks really good, but I wonder how it looks when both palettes are on screen.
