Nobody is gonna do it for you, you know. But you might want to look at the Sonic 2 disassembly and port it from there.

I remember in the Spin Dash porting guide, things had to be renamed (i.e. loc_XXXXX had to be changed to loc_YYYYY) in the s2 spin dash asm, so that's something you'll have to be careful of if you're taking it from another game, but Selbi has the right idea.

yep use the s2 dissasembely - the code is all there... but dont make the same mistake I did - remeber to convert the art, mappings and anim to s1 format using SonMapEd.

Well, remember, Dandaman955, that there won't be guides for everything. Spin Dash, for example, is needed for every S1 hack, that's why it was tutorialed. But Super Sonic is an exclusive feature.

Though I clearly comprehend your situation. When I was a newbie at ASM I thought it was almost impossible to add things by myself. Even Adding Spin Dash guide seemed hard and unclear for me. But I just couldn't imagine that some month later I would easily manipulate large amounts of code. Now every time I looking through guides I say to myself: "How could it seem hard for me? It's very easy!"

Have some practice, read more guides and references, and in some time you'll be able to do incredible things!

Umm.....No it's not. Spindash is an overused piece of crap now.

OP, if you do need help with fixing errors, we can help here. But doing things for you? Nah.

I think its a personal preferance thing to be honest... I love the spindash and find it really annoying when I play sonic 1 that dosnt have it, I mean even sega added it to sonic jam so it cant be all bad? Anyway just wanted to get that in lol :)

Well--I just mean that it's getting boring. People just adding spindash and not doing anything else? How about something original! Spindash doesn't need to be in every hack, especially when everyone uses the same piece of code over and over again.

Dandaman955-- Speed changes are great. That means the mode worked, however you still need to copy over the ring drain code, the super sonic palette, and the sprites. All of which can be put where you have your super sonic code. Although, if I recall--S2 tells it to load the new graphics and mappings, as well as the new palette and ring drain code in SuperSonic_Initiate or something. So, just go there, find the code, copy it over, and you're done :V

Spin Dash is the most useful thing in Sonic games. It's a classical feature, like ability to roll and jump.

Also, I see nothing bad in using the same pieces of code.

If it was so easy, most of S1 hacks would already have Super Sonic in them.
