I was looking around the forum, and one thing caught my eye: a move editor.

I downloaded it, and thought it was really neat and all, but it lacked one thing, animations.

So, as it was an open-source project, I thought I'd add in animations as an ASM/programming exercise, so here is a random concept hack with several new moves.

When walking on the ground, press B to get a speed boost.

When walking in the air (nothing else to call it) press A to do a supposed panic leap, where you will go into the air and forwards (if you walked off a cliff, you could turn then press A.)

When jumping press A to do a jump dash (with a cool animation), B to go down (like the bubble shield) and C to double-jump at the cost of one ring.

Please tell me what you think of my concept moveset.

    Here it is: s2built.zip

Ok, a jumpdash, a down dash, a double jump and some other new moves. Please don't get me wrong here, but this isn't really something to be proud of, simply because they are:

    1. Totally overused

    2. Oen-sourced like everywhere and very easy to edit, to make thinks like double jump out of a jumpdash.

Nice to see that you were able to do some ASM edits though. :)

I know; it was just a concept test, and I was wondering more about the moveset than the coding.

Thanks for your feedback anyway. :)

Maybe it's overused because you make too many tutorials? Hm... XD
