well that's soseph's decision because he handles all the ASM but we could use another person for ASM whenever Joseph's busy, and we do need peel-out and a way tp put more characters in. It's too hard for Joseph to put another character in with dynamic pallete he said, so if you could do that also, that would be great.

    v1.1 Released!

    Download: http://jump.fm/VDESY

    Changelog:

    Added REV01 Effects

Removed Dynamic Pallet System (It may sound like a drawback, but believe me, it isn't.)

Fixed pallet issues (Occurred because of ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^.)

Not much has been done, but this is just a VERY minor bugfix release. V1.3 is already in progress. Just hold on. :)

The dynamic pallete removal is a good thing. It probably wouldn't take sonic a day to get outta GHZ.

I'm not exactly fond of the level layouts, they're dull most of the time.

Also, the ending gives an illegal instruction before Sonic does his ending pose.

I had that Illegal Instruction thing before he does his ending pose in my hack as well. It seems to be an issue with the SONIC THE HEDGEHOG text that comes up. There is a place where it branches to DisplaySprite or something and that seems to be where the bug is. I just solved it by removing the branch to it so it would stay hidden.

perhaps it would be wise of us to remove the branch then. I never did notice that bug, but then again, I never really tried watching the ending because I wasn't too focused on that. We might fix it then release another bugfix if that's what's wanted, but we also don't wanna end up releasing a bugfix for every single bug, so if there are other ones as well, please post so we can get rid of those too.

By the way, if anyone finds the level select order bug, we are already aware of that.

Please do not post one word statements that don't help nor have decent purposes. From this moment on, any posts I see that are similar to that of above, I shall send to the trash.

    Update:

A new bugfix release will be released within the next 2 days, but right now, we're working on adding a new character and possibly an options menu and sonic 2's sprites. After we get those in, we're fixing the level select bug and the ending bug and then we'll release version 1.2. (not enough updates for 1.3)

Then it's not an update, only if you actually made anything to show off. Just saying what you plan to do is not an update. =P

Well guys, I WAS going to put up a release, but there are still some bugs to fix before I do that, so until then, enjoy this video that theocas put up about 2 days ago that I forgot to put up here.

Some notable differences between the video and our last release would be the return of the dynamic pallete/art system, s3k sound driver (not able to be heard in video), and sonic 2's sprites because they're so freaking awesome.

EDIT: Here's a video that you can hear the sound driver change in. It's just a glitch video but whatever.

Also, there's a topic on my site about it. It's worth checking out! And the name might be temporary, or permanent if we don't come up with something better. Link! And also, maybe we should split the thread into 2 or something, one part for the old, another for the new posts?

Oh and also, click here to download the latest version of the hack. It still has some minor bugs, but I hope they're not too much of an issue. Also, Peelout is coming soon!

You stole them from a fucking guide! Learn to give credit you thieving prick. Not to mention the amount of stuff that you're claiming as your own. Like Esrael's S3 sound driver port and level select screen. You also clearly didn't create the act-based music system, monitor edits or the spike bug fix.

So many questions asked just to produce this load of shit. Well done.
