ok.. cool you got the pallette looking good, now I recomend fixing the music as it sounds shite as it is, then fix the broken animated tiles to get rid of the little numbers scattered about, then fix the plc's so the objects and enemys display correctly. Your definately making progress so keep at it.

As said before, why do you keep recording the title screen, you entering the cheat, etc, etc?  Just start recording from DEZ.

Okay. I will try to remember to start the recording from the showcased zone from now on.

He could also disable the code and enable the level select by just pressing A start.

Edit: But there really is no reason to show the title screen in the video.

Well, I get the point, guys.

And to show it, here's another update on DEZ. Watch and enjoy.

This time, I focused mainly on making the level harder and longer, so I did that by replacing some floors and walls with level layout. Criticisms on DEZ are welcome.

Do you need help with level layouts? I mean, besides the graphical errors do to incomplete PLC entries, your layouts are still atrocious. Still better than when you first came, but still horrid. That's why I ask. I mean, DEZ is finally starting to take shape and all, but your layouts are just kinda painful. Could you revert it to stock? Personally, I would finish up all the dynamic level art before going to layouts.

All I am going to say is you should fix all the graphical glitches before posting a video.I am glad you got the pallet working and all, but please fix the objects.  Oh, and the spikes at the end of act 1 one on the ceiling need to be moved.

Funny, I was going to use DEZ (S3K) art for the death egg battle in my hack....

EDIT:  Forgot, the layouts do need a lot of work.  The spikes in that small area at 0:30 seconds, need to be removed.

I'm honestly not very good with art when it's not ported from another game, and I'm still having a bit of trouble making good level layouts. I tend to play Sonic Megamix (Sega CD version, mind you) quite often so I can try to get some sort of inspiration for my own level layouts, but I don't think it's helping me very much.

Those spikes you added at 0:30 are ridiculous. I know you are going for "harder" but what the hell? If you can't see this is as a stupid decision then there's no hope.

You still have unforseeable death pits, chunks that don't connect properly and a level that can be ported in seconds.

You have no background, broken PLCs/art and the music sounds like a half-finished port.

Am I being a little over critical? Maybe. But I wouldn't be surprised if you posted another video in the next 24 hours showing "Look, I fixed an enemy" as the only thing different. So this seems like the only way to go about things...

STOP! Read people's responses. Carefully. We also don't need to see that you fixed bug #4735. When you feel you have something worth showing, then do so. But until then, keep it under wraps. It's better that way.

Hey everyone! Got a new video to show, and this time, it isn't DEZ! But there are a couple fairly interesting things shown in this video.

Watch and enjoy. Criticisms on this video's showcased content are welcome.

Strange how you never asked a question about this, but Im sure you ported the flight code from S3, I mean its not done not by a long shot but you got somewhere with that without asking questions and thats saying something. You may be finally trying to learn stuff on your own, its a Christmas miracle.

Actually, it's two Christmas miracles, because along with me finally trying to learn stuff on my own, I'm not porting any of this from S3K at all. I'm making the code the hard way: by experimentation and determination. I decided to write a guide as I go along (people, please don't immediately reject my work due to the current incompleteness of the guide).

As for your pallete, It could look a bit better, BUT that blue doesn't fit.

The blue is OK on a chirstmas hack or something like that, but, for a winter pallete, no.

Here's an example of a winter pallete:

I think I'll provide one just for the sake of fixing my eyes. Courtesy of Berry Team Palettes. Enjoy... http://www.mediafire.com/?n4wblodhortajj7

I'd upload the file correctly, but I'm not permitted to add files through messages like I was when I first joined. Anyway, 7 seconds and it is already prevailing over your version; albeit that there is MUCH more blue in it. It can pass for what you're going with.

I think you didn't even take any previous feedback into consideration and just wanted to show off what looks to be a very unfinished flying for Tails.

Oh man, five seconds into it and it is already superior to what I had. I like it.

-_- I tried my hardest, OK? And the flying...well, I'll get more into that at a later time.

I'm almost tempted to ask you to post screenshots of every zone that has a changed palette...

Thinking about it, the only other palette I made that doesn't seem to fit with its zone is Rusty Riot Zone. Watered Relic was fixed a few days or so back, Creepy Caverns and Aerial Chase are both minor palette edits, and...well, we just sorted out Winter Hill Zone. Here's a picture of Rusty Riot Zone so you can see just how badly I fucked up:

The bridge feels completely wrong, the lava's fucked up, and the main level shading just doesn't look right. As the name implies, I was trying for a "rusty" feel to the zone (not rusty like Rusty Ruin, mind you), but I ended up single-handedly screwing over the whole palette.
