Sonic 2 Epsilon

My reasoning is that noone likes Glowing Bridge and that most forums or users refer to it as Glowing Cocks or Glowing Scum. It is widely known as a shithole.


I personally wouldn't go there if I had a choice.


But on topic, I think that that boss arena that you have done, SOTI, is simple yet cool.

 

That does look pretty familiar. I think I did something very close to that in one of my hacks back in 2001...

...Hahahahaha. Alright, you can hate the place if you so choose, I can't stop that. However, there are a fair amount of people who actually like the place, so don't go saying that everyone hates it. And the Glowing Cocks/Scum is just a name we've had to stick with due to GW and his imagination or our upbringing. Also, if you think Glowing Bridge is a shithole, you'd better not say that Sonic Stadium is better as that would be a damn lie. You could probably go to hell for saying that.

 

Point taken, no I do not. Will someone explain for me? I just don't like it, it's full of rubbish guides that don't explain anything.

 

And I suppose that's why every second hack has art from the SCAA?


EDIT: Oh wow, three people posted while I was posting this.

 

I'm not exactly bothered about where the SCAA is hosted, as long as it is on a reliable server I'm happy even though "Glowing Bridge" is mentioned.


The boss arena, yeah it's good, the boss offroads at the start, that's funny but I'll see what I can add to it.


Edit: I have not seen any hack with the boss layout, sorry ThunderSpeed.

 

First of all, the guides aren't bad (unless they've changed since the wikification) - they're easy to understand, and I suppose I'm slightly partial since their ASM guide is what got me interested in 68000 assembly.


Secondly, Glowing Cocks is just Guess Who's parody of the Glowing Bridge. The only reason most people harbour ill feelings towards that place is because of the way it was created, but that's past history now, and since Tweaker and LocalH have moved on (and they were the two directly affected by it), I feel everyone else should as well.

Well, right now I'm only seeing 1 guide on there(unless I'm not really looking), and it's only incomplete due to the author having personal problems in real life. True, it doesn't explain too much, but it's good enough for a start I feel. So I really don't understand where you're getting the notion that it's full of crap from.

 

The reason people hated Glowing Bridge was because of the way it had come about, and the drive for them to call themselves a big name in the Sonic scene.


This is obviously not so, and my personal distaste towards the site through manner of a grudge has faded. I see no problem with people taking space from the GB server if it's offered to them - it has absolutely no bearing on their content.

Oh, and SOTI has his own reasons for hating the place (which are pretty retarded, I might add), so don't listen to anything he says about it.
