Get Blue Spheres?

    So I got inspired by DarkspinesSonic, Werster, Trihex, and SuperAliceInWonderland doing a 24 hour Get Blues Spheres stream to make a "quick" ROM hack. Something someone posted in one of their stream chats inspired this.

    I won't be posting screenshots because that ruins the fun of everything, but let's see who can work out what's been changed the quickest.

    How profane player like me is supposed to play this? NO WAY, ISN'T IT?!



    Seriously, how? I tried all key combinations I knew, but nothing worked. It doesn't seem to have any sign of key or clue or something.
    EDIT: My bad, that's my keyboard issue. I can't press 3 keys which are supposed to emulate A, B, C buttons in a stroke.

    Yeah, that's interesting. I was about to report something, but I later checked the spoiler in your first post and it turns out you already know about that. It should be fairly easy to fix it though.

    If the perfect algorithm works like the one in the regular special stages, it doesn't calculate the needed amount in real time, but it looks it up (in the case of the regular special stages, it looks it up from their header). Since there are only 128 possible blocks in Blue Sphere, I assume there is a table with 128 values in this case, 4 of which gets added up to make the total, so I guess it would be as simple as creating a second table with the new values, though you have to calculate them by your own.
