Hmm, "can I found" any bugs? Why yes, this whole thing can be described as a single one.

You did mention that the Sonic icon is still broken from the palette changes and would be fixed one day, which is fine. What you left out to mention is that you didn't fix absolutely any of the palettes. The result is a gigantic swamp of broken graphics that look like a negative color filter went over them and screwed up half-way through.

Now, I would lie if I said that fixing this stuff were an easy thing. However, this is exactly what makes character-replacement hacks more challenging than they may appear to be: bringing in a new face without ruining the mood of the original game. E-122-Psi is a well-known hacker who knows how to do just that, just to name one person.

As for the character itself, well, I can't be much more optimistic either. The implementation isn't even sub-par, it's far from playable. My first reaction when seeing the screenshots was that the hitboxes most definitely haven't even been touched, but when I actually played the game I realized that it wouldn't matter anyway, as one can't even see where the center of the character model is. None of the sprites seem to be matched up in position, so you can see this Chip dude teleporting all over the place as you walk, basically. A clear case of half-arsed cut-and-paste in SonMapEd (if this even was done in that, because this might as well have been created using the outdated Sonik Sprite tool).

Finally, I just have three little questions:

    1: Why?

    2: Just why?!

3: Oh, dear merciful god, why?!

Adding on to what Selbi said, I'm going to take a quote from what you said.

If you know that there are bugs, try and fix them before you release your game. And from what I've seen, the palette is a complete mess and quite a few things just look horrible. Some bugs are ok upon release, as is with all hacks however these bugs stand out way too much. As a game developer, would you release a game in this state? Of course not.

(other than that, if it's your first hack it isn't terrible. However, it isn't anything big so if you're to release it I wouldn't recommend making a whole thread for it. But what do I know, I'm just a lurker. I don't hack... much.)

Hey man, take it slow, I know all the problems, started this ROM is less than two days, I still have much work ahead, finish changing all Sprites, so why Chip is one of the characters who have less sprites on the Internet . My goal was to make all Sprites Sonic, after the Misc. (Title Screen, Objects, Lives.) After arranging the palettes, but the whole ROM hack during the development needs support.

It's my first Hack with Sprites edit, i only need support from you Member, to know what you like and you Dislike. On further, i have plan to fix these Bugs.

So why releasing it? It doesn't make any sense.

Because I think not always Photos and videos bring the same emotion than the Hack personally prefer to play hack to watch videos, I also think that if the person playing Hack has more precision that has the errors, and then tell me and I fix if possible

But there's nothing to see besides some sprite change and broken palette. Also, if you want to catch errors before releasing, get some betatesters.

I don't know what standards that Brazilian forum has, but as you've noticed now, we don't share them around here. Generally speaking, betas to get impressions and the likes are fine, but for that it is expected that the creator put some actual devotion into their work. Or in other words: one must feel that the game is actually on a level of completion that can be felt.

This hack right here doesn't even give the feel that you attempted to give some time to fix its many problems. You don't just throw something half-baked on the market unless it has substance, which even early-access games have to deliver (somewhat).

Well, I have tested the hack and I can say I don't really like it, for sure it's a good idea, but at least I, don't like it. There are a lot of bugs/glitches you haven't fixed yet. Chip's sprite set is not complete and he sometimes turns back into being Sonic. The palettes are a buggy mess, etc. I'm not going to bash you but I would recommend you to at least fix the palettes.
