Missing characters in code

    Hello everyone, I'm currently working on editing a Sonic 1 ROM to apply different bug fixes, etc. I'm using the SCHG database at Sonic Retro, and I've run into a problem on the page with the REV01 background effects porting information. It seems my browser is unable to display a certain character in the code, shown by this picture:

    I am not particularly good at this sort of thing, only being able to follow directions in the tutorials and copy/pasting to get things running, so would anybody mind telling me which character that's supposed to be? Thank you in advance. :(

    I couldn't tell you what it is, but it's commented, so it's probably not 100% important....


    It comes up as a box for me (when asian text is supposed to be there or something along the lines of that).

    The comments of a code are not important.


    Comments are not necessary for a code to function.

    Besides, these comments are just cross-references. You most likely won't need them.


    Remember: anything after the semicolon (;) to the end of a line is a comment.
