Very interesting concept based on original ideas. Except for the strange shading on this very large bar into the ground. If you pay attention, it sounds a bit odd in comparison to all other tiles you see in the level. I think that a dark tone into the last shades could make it better. The level art itself looks splendid.

Psy: Your art is very nice, but I agree with EK about the background, and also I think that the floor is a bit odd, but not too much anyway :)

    (Also, EK, finally you're here!)

    Ground, dude. Not background. :)
Yeah, with internet on my pc again and with a new pc, I'm definitely back with total force.

Just the shading from that bar, the level art itself looks fantastic. ^^

Morning one is looking much better, and the night one looks really nice too. Although the day one (orange) is not (in my opinion) looking good at all. Too much brightness for me, and the floor don't look too brilliant, it could do with more detail.

That looks pretty nice, I also like the RH logo, it's almost the same as in your 30 day project!

Only problem I see with that is the Orange gradient in the screenshot on the RIGHT stands out maybe a bit too much and can probably use some tweaking.

Wow, that is seriously awesome stuff EK. Fantastic job as usual. I'm also happy everything is working out for you again too.

The only little problems I saw was, at the end of the level when they counted your score. You didn't hear the ring SFX. (Unless this was intended)

Also, Tails underwater needs a little fixing.

But other than that, S1HL looks great! I'm really looking forward for future updates on S1HL. =)

Wow, nice new updates EK! I like the feature of collecting the big rings too.

I really like the bugfixes (but, the compatibility with real hardware is still not fixed? In the last release your hack crashes after the title screen), I like the art in the new LZ :p, and I like the new music port used.

I just don't like what happens with the big ring. I think that it's a bit odd. I think, that sonic must enter to the ring or, you can hide big rings into the level, in S3's style :p

I think this was also done in Puto's(Pu70) hack sonic 1 remastered. Quite frankly I didn't mind it then, and well seems alright in this hack so yeah. Always nice to squash some bugs, to make your hack more complete =).

Jealous of Psy's marble texture :p

Anyway, some wip of Marble as well, though there's still a lot to add & change, those parts are slowly approaching their supposedly final appearance:

The mosaics are modified from the tiny tiles in the kind of towers (can't find a better name) of marble garden, but everything else is original.

Well here's a small update on my Sonic Chaos hack. I finally came up with a name for it, Sonic Chaotic, but I still need to edit the Title Screen. :V Here's a video:

I still need to fix the sneakers routine to play the jingle, I guess I accidentally set the sound id to $80 in my disassembly. :V Also the boring gray palette is a placeholder for now. And Sonic and Tails outrun the camera while having the speed sneakers. :p
