Blazefirelp, that looks badass. Great work here!

Also, I couldn't help my urge to draw new art for LZ, so here it goes:

Theres not much to comment really in that screenshot. I mean you've added what looks like a bit of gradient on the normal blocks, and changed the labythrinth head block and the wider block with a snake like pattern. Its ok, but you haven't really modified enough, its not that different.

Please avoid making "quick" posts like this and actually make comments regarding what was posted. Remember, you are a Trialist and at the end of the day, posts like these could actually end up making yourself not get approved.

This sprite is almost the same as my crouching sprite lol

I can't take a picture right now but you can see it in my videos ;)

Mine is more edited than yours, but the same idea.

ooh, sorry! I forget to say about that. The stone edits are very cool, I specially like the totem head, but still looks the same as the original Labyrinth Zone. Anyway, good job! ;)

The background sea and sky is very beautiful, did you draw that?

Really digging the art you're going for. Gives me that kinda GHZ zone vibe, but at the same time, the background is a mangroved version of Emerald Coast. Out of curiosity, those are rocks in the water?

I absolutely love the art you've created BlazeFirelp, but maybe you should add more scenery with some paralax scrolling.

To me I feels a little empty... Still, you've done an impeccable job here.

Parallax Scrolling? Well yeah, I do intend to do quite a nifty parallax. Under water included. I always wanted that for a level.

Also, those ARE parts from the death egg in the water. Doesn't look like it probably but I will refine the idea and presentation as time goes on.

Been racking my brain for where I've seen that animation frame from, and then it finally hit me - Super Sonic.

As for the art, I agree with Animemaster. The art doesn't really look all that different.

By the way, it's only a detail but Super Sonic has thicker arms than the normal sprites. That's only 3 pixels to correct though.

Yes, you are right, in fact mine has his arms completely edited to look like the other "normal" sprites... That's and some other small edits is why I said mine is more edited than the one of DeoxysKyogre.

Why so few screenshots lately? :p

    Well, let's post one:

It's still work in progress of course, and there are many things on the code's side I have to do before I can work on new backgrounds, but the chunks are all "done", and the art is "complete" (read: not necessarily final, but nothing looks broken anymore). I'll keep improving it with hindsight and as inspiration comes.

Fun fact: it's using less tiles than the original Green Hill xD
